We now only have our lovely ‘Hedleysrock Lewis’ available from our most recent litter! Harris has found his forever home with a beautiful family of four in Yorkshire so we are now looking to find Lewis his perfect family too! Please share our post to help us and tag any family or friends 🐾 He is KC Registered, legally docked, microchipped, wormed to date, ready to leave now with 5 week KC Insurance and a full puppy pack. We now only have our 2 beautiful boys available from Teasel and Bobs litter of puppies. They are ready to leave us now and are microchipped, legally docked, health checked and KC Registered. They will leave us with 5 week insurance via the Kennel Club and a full puppy pack too. Please share to help us find these boys their perfect homes or contact us for further details ❤️🐾

We now only have our 2 beautiful boys available from Teasel and Bobs stunning litter. They are all doing really well and tucking into their grub! They are all due to get their microchips this week and have a final health check by our Vet too. They will be ready for their new homes on the 22nd January, please share to help us find these boys their forever homes ❤️

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from us all at Hedleysrock Gundogs! 🐾 We were kept very entertained with weaning our stunning litter of cocker puppies who turned 4 weeks old on Christmas Day! We have four beautiful puppies available, 2 bi***es (dark golden/black and white) and 2 dogs (light golden/white and golden). They will be ready to leave us on the 22nd January and are legally docked, microchipped, KC Registered, vet checked and will leave us with a full puppy pack. Teasels and Bob’s beautiful puppies turned a week old today ❤️ Their first weigh in confirms we have 5 healthy and chubby pups! They are all doing well and had their first health check at the vets this week along with getting legally docked too. Now we have a challenge of deciding what theme to pick for their kennel names! If you would like any further information about them, please do not hesitate to pop us a message 🐾

We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Teasel and Bobs first litter! We have a beautiful mix of colours and Teasel is settling into motherhood very well. They will be visiting our vet over the next couple of days and we will keep you all updated on the puppies progress! 🐾

On this beautiful November day we wanted to take this opportunity to show you all some pictures of our beautiful tri coloured Teasel and golden boy Bob. We are delighted to confirm that they are expecting their first litter together with puppies due at the end of this month. Puppies will be KC Registered, Legally docked, microchipped and vet checked and leave us with our usual puppy packs and 5 week insurance. For any further details, please message us. Sad day for us yesterday as we had to say goodbye to our boy Yanto (Summervilles Bachgennyn).
At the grand age of 13 the time was right for him to go to sleep. He was an incredible addition to our team here at Hedleysrock and will be very much missed. A stunning boy bred by our friends Julie and Darren at Summervilles with many beautiful puppies sired throughout his time at Stud to carry on his line.

This is so important, please read

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Busy day today at Hedleysrock Gundogs. Puppies went for their microchips and vet check by our lovely vet Sabine at Cheviot Vets, all on their best behaviour in the car and at the vets! This afternoon they have been enjoying the sunshine and all the toys in the garden after being wormed by Marj. The puppy packs arrived from Skinners and the puppies love playing with a cardboard box so nothing goes to waste here!

Given the beautiful weather we’ve all had, the little guys had their first play out in the garden! Safe to say they all loved it and are coming along leaps and bounds! They already have the knack of eating the chicken out of their dinner before the biscuits too!
