Happy New Year, Everyone!!

I'm planning on being back to work on Tuesday, but the last 3 days I've been suffering from an awful virus, anyone who is immunosuppressed or who'd rather avoid me, than catching the plague, just let me know.

p.s I've tested for covid and it was negative 3 years on, it's still not caught up with me.

So while Ailsa is in for her swimming lesson, I'm getting a few minutes too upload some pics of our dog walks, and even with 5g it still can't upload quick enough 🙈
Quick apology that there has been a lack of pics, things with after school activities and a mix of pigs, cats, dogs, chickens and horses too sort at home, before the delights of homework, reading and other things that just take up so much time at home its just so busy, it's feeling manic and we have the run up too Christmas 🎄

Next week we fly into December, so I seem too be having to add too my diary, Christmas school play, a visit too see santa, Christmas party and I also won tickets too Disney on ice.

If I thought Nov was busy I think I'll be ready for the Christmas break, which I think looking at the calendar, I will be finishing off Fri 22nd and returning 2nd Jan.

"Sometimes death is a kindness"

I heard this a few years back on Peaky Blinders and it's certainly stuck with me.

On our way too the walk this morning I saw something at the side of the road, curiosity got the better of me and I turned around, again I could see it wasn't just a brown paper bag, and again turned back to the original way I was travelling and stopped pulling up on the side of the road.
Traffic was still coming along pretty fast national speed limit, I'd managed too see from inside the van it was a rabbit 🐇
I picked up a body warmer, saying to myself as I got out too see if it would allow me too catch it 'please don't bite me'

It didn't even attempt too move, I wrapped my bodywarmer over it and popped it in the passenger foot well . . . hoping that if it didn't move for me too pick it up, it may stay still while I contacted a vet 🤞🤞

River vets were brilliant, said I could come straight along, I had pre warned the lady this rabbit had made not attempted too move, and they very kindly worded that it would be likely that it would be euthanized due too this.
It was pretty much expected, and as disappointing as it is, I think not too sit and suffer in pain at the roadside, possibly pecked at, eaten alive or starve the kindest and most respectful thing too do was let the rabbit slip away peacefully.

Rest in peace little bunny.
