Little update on Max - we’ve been back to the vets for a check up & he still has some swelling on his lip so we’ve got some more anti inflammatories & hopefully by the end of them it will be completely gone.
He’s been given the all clear to go back on proper walks so he’s had a blast around the park, straight into the bushes & found a football 🤦🏻♀️
He’ll be back with the gang next week, he’s definitely missed all his pals 🙌🏻
Max spending the full day in the vets is not what I had planned for our day off 😭
Last night Max started with swelling on one side of his mouth, this morning the swelling was horrific & had made its way across his neck, so straight to the vets it was.
After being sedated so the vet could do a proper examination he couldn’t find anything that would have caused this swelling. We’re now home & he’s got to have plenty of rest. Fingers crossed it won’t be long until he’s back on his walks.
But in the meantime lots of cuddles for the boy 🤍
Quick reminder no walks tomorrow, all walks will resume as normal on Tuesday

Maxy isn’t the biggest on cuddles - he’ll stay for a few minutes then lie on his own & he’s happy with that!
So the times he actually falls asleep on me I just love, picks his times though 26° I’m bloody melting🥵😂

Rosie used to be with the lovely Sam at Pooches rambles dog walking/training & pet services but she’s come to join us - no doubt we will still see auntie Sam when out & about.

It’s been a bit of a battle with the weather these past few days with how hot it’s been but with a few things jigged around we’ve had some very happy pooches still enjoying their walks - many have had shorter & earlier walks but they’ve all still had a blast with their pals or pinching extra cuddles off me on home visits 🐶

Whilst we are all happy to finally have the glorious hotter weather our pooches probably aren’t so happy!
I will be monitoring the weather & each dog to see how they are on each walk, I will shorten walks where I feel it’s needed - if you would prefer me to do a drop in (toilet visit & play) please let me know & ill do my best to accommodate where possible.
As always your dogs heath & well being is my main priority - we need to keep those pooches safe

Huge huge thank you to Sam at Pooches rambles dog walking/training & pet services for coming to the rescue & letting Max tag along with her crew for a couple of days whilst I’m holiday as my mum has fell & broken her ankle 🙈😭 I don’t trust many people with Max but Sam is definitely one of them! When we put Max onto the extendable lead we began to work on his recall, allowing the lead to reach full extension & calling him back to our side. Today I let Max off the lead for the first time & as you can see he did a great job, with a little more work he will have it boxed off 👏🏼👏🏼 Well done Max ✨🐶
Aww I’m still super proud of Mika on yesterday’s walk, as you can see she has done amazing with minimal tension on the lead. Fabulous work Mika Moo 🐶✨
