Puppy Exposure
Puppies - how do we show them the world?
Puppies need to explore and interact with their environment to build confidence. However they also need to learn to be calm and coexist in it.
Both of these puppies struggle to ignore something new because they are naturally inquisitive. Create windows for your puppy to be calm and to explore. You’ll find it much easier to transition them to a very busy human world!
Client Wins - Kiya ✨
When I first met Kiya she had seen a trainer previously for quite a long time but was still explosively reactive!
Her triggers were sudden people appearing and coming within her threshold. Today we had both in the pet shop - not a single reaction just commitment to disengage.
Amazing progress - well done to Kiya and her owner for putting in the hard work ✨🙏🏼

Roll Call ✨
The dogs that join us outside of our paddock sessions are not only walked by us but trained by us!
This exercise is something we practice on every walk - emergency downs and individual release is very important for safety!
Do you ever practice roll call with your dogs?
Newest member of the pack - Luna ✨
We’ve recently started having exposure sessions with Luna. Her session today was exposure to dogs with no interaction.
When introducing puppies to dogs it’s important they learn to work with you around other dogs BUT also to be neutral and confident. Interactions come later!
