14 year old 'Demon' has been in for some dental work. He was such a lovely gent and was licking Katies arm while he had his pre-anaesthetic checkup! Although he's 14 and a half years old he's looking fine and dandy😀

Labradoodle Lennie was dressed to impress when she came in for some surgery. At nine and a half years old she's looking absolutely fabulous 🥰

Pinkie and Archie have both been in to see Nicky for heart scans to screen them for the genetic disorder hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
This unusual hairless breed of cat is a naturally occurring genetic mutation which was developed through selective breeding in the 1960s.
The skin has a texture of chamois leather so they love a cuddle for body warmth, due to their lack of fur.

Four more potential Search and Rescue dogs were safely delivered at our Stokenchurch hospital last week to Mum 'Sky'. These four gorgeous little bundles are part of a large successful Search and Rescue family that help people in the Thames Valley. They have recently won some more awards. Congratulations to all!

This handsome young man has been into the Flackwell Heath branch every week to be weighed while he's growing. At 21 weeks old Ozzie is currently 24 kilos and growing into a lovely well behaved boy 🥰

Happy Muzzling Katie has been working really hard on her technique to introduce this lovely dog to a muzzle in a gentle way, with plenty of reward. With the law now stating that some dogs will need to wear a muzzle in public places Katies videos and information handout may help some of our clients faced with having to introduce a muzzle to their dog. If you would like a copy of the handout emailed to you please contact reception and we can arrange this for you.

Speared by a stick

Working Cocker Vinnie had a lucky escape recently when he presented with a lump on his chest. On investigation Pete found a 15cm stick which we assume Vinnie had swallowed. It then appears to have penetrated forward through his diaphragm and speared through his left lung! After 5 days of intensive nursing in the new facilitie at Stokenchurch, Vinnie is now recuperating at home.
