This unusual hairless breed of cat is a naturally occurring genetic mutation which was developed through selective breeding in the 1960s.
The skin has a texture of chamois leather so they love a cuddle for body warmth, due to their lack of fur.

Happy Muzzling Katie has been working really hard on her technique to introduce this lovely dog to a muzzle in a gentle way, with plenty of reward. With the law now stating that some dogs will need to wear a muzzle in public places Katies videos and information handout may help some of our clients faced with having to introduce a muzzle to their dog. If you would like a copy of the handout emailed to you please contact reception and we can arrange this for you.

Working Cocker Vinnie had a lucky escape recently when he presented with a lump on his chest. On investigation Pete found a 15cm stick which we assume Vinnie had swallowed. It then appears to have penetrated forward through his diaphragm and speared through his left lung! After 5 days of intensive nursing in the new facilitie at Stokenchurch, Vinnie is now recuperating at home.
