Murphy was diagnosed with bilateral humeral intracondylar fissures (HIFs), with the aid of an outpatient CT scan with our colleagues at Mulberry House Vets. Take a look at the shared post above which shows the images from Murphy’s scan.


The CT scan was then sent to Vet3D, where custom 3D printed drill guides were produced, unique to Murphy’s anatomy.

These guides allowed us to place as large a screw as possible in exactly the right position to support the elbow and prevent fractures from developing in the future.

Murphy is recovering very well at home following his surgery, and can’t wait to start running around again!

We all fell in love with Filly when she stayed with us for her fracture repair recently which was performed by James at the Stokenchurch hospital.

When 15 week old French Bulldog X Jack Russell 'Dougie' came in for his 2nd vaccination, Ann was on hand to give him some reassuring cuddles 😊

This gorgeous girl called Meri has been in for some dental work. She had a few teeth removed due to periodontal disease but will be chomping away on biscuits again in no time.

Nine year old Buddha has been in for some dental work at our Stokenchurch hospital where we have a dedicated dental suite. Buddha did require one extraction but other than that he just needed a scale and polish.

We enjoyed meeting Ethel and Mabel when they came in for a check up recently so we could prescribe flea and worming treatments. Since the rules were changed by the RCVS last year we have to see all pets at least once a year for a clinical assessment in order to provide certain products.

Edie was lucky enough to grab a cuddle with Bluey, a fluffy French Bulldog.
Bluey is an unusual variation of the Frenchie with a long-haired gene. Gorgeous 🥰

Little poodle Molly came in before Christmas to have her ear sorted out in time to hear the Christmas carols. She was looking pretty as a picture in her pink jumper and smart hair do.

This is Ash who came in to have his 'baubles' removed in time for Christmas. Katie was lucky enough to get some festive kisses, even though he'd left his sprig of mistletoe at home that day

Amber, an 8 year old Chihuahua, needed to have a lump removed from her chest. Lipomas are harmless lumps that start in fat cells stored in tissue around the body and are not usually painful. They accumulate more fat as they grow and are more likely in middle-aged to elderly dogs.
Amber is modelling an ###S body suit and festive bandage to complete her ensemble. We now use body suits routinely to protect wounds and thankfully Ambers is now fully healed.
