🏆Online Dressage League for Riding School Clients🏆

Riding school clients, you now have the opportunity to compete in an online dressage league!

Pick a test to work towards for the month in your lessons, film your test and then submit your best video for a chance to win a rosette and points towards the riding schools league.

This is a great, fun, low pressure way to compete without having your own horse or just gives you something to work towards in your lessons.

The following classes will run every month, with entry deadline being 28th of the month and video deadline being the last day of the month by 4pm.

Class 1 – Lead Rein Intro
Class 2 – Intro Juniors (4yrs-15yrs)
Class 3 – Intro Seniors (16+)
Class 4 – Intro Open – Open to Helpers / Liveries / Instructors
Class 5 – Prelim Juniors (4yrs-15yrs)
Class 6 – Prelim Seniors (16yrs+)
Class 7 – Prelim Open – Open to Helpers / Liveries / Instructors
Class 8 – Novice Open – Open to everyone

Bear, the wonder rescue pony continues to do well ….😊

Tuesday morning didn’t quite go as planned when one of our client’s found their beloved golden oldie (32yo!) pony stuck in a ditch. Bear was collapsed with his hind legs in a straight position underneath him and wedged in the trench by his pelvis.
With the incredibly professional and calm crews from Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service including The Animal Rescue Team and Fire Service we managed to extract Bear but the worry was he would not attempt or be able to stand having been trapped for so long in such an awkward and challenging position. We needn’t have worried though as with his “Victor Meldrew” attitude, Bear responded well to gentle manipulation of his hind limbs and consistent, gentle muscle massage from 2 of the fire crew! He started eating and responded well to it meds and fluids. With careful support Bear made it to his stable where he continues to eat and remains stable. I can’t thank the fire service enough for their expertise, professionalism and empathy!
