I’m Simon, the chief dog walker at Higham & Rushden Walkies. The business started in January 2018 mainly because my 13 year old Golden Retriever no longer enjoys a long walk and I really miss dog walks through the nearby countryside. I grew up with pets and have had dogs and cats my entire adult life, as well as chickens, ducks and rabbits. Currently I have two pedigree cats and a duck as well as Misty the Golden Retriever. Most dog walkers take several dogs out at once, we are different in that we only ever walk two dogs together, this gives each dog the full attention of the walker. We also offer a pet sitting service in your own home, we will visit to care for cats, elderly dogs or small animals. We can visit a couple of times a day while you are away, which offers an alternative to putting your pets into kennels. We always put your pets first, you can be assured of a professional and friendly service. Simon.
