Buddy is hiding behind window number 11! 🎄🌟

Another BFG! He is the definition of "all rounder". Buddy and his fabulous owner Charlotte will be found out hacking for hours, and then show jumping the next, they go to dressage competitions and even like to show in the summer!

Buddy lives with his gelding gang, and is friends with everyone! He will happily hang out with anyone and always welcomes new horses to the herd ❤️

Buddy has decked his halls and is absolutely in the running for the best dressed stable this Christmas 🤣

On the tenth day of Christmas, we bring you Molly!

Molly is the queen bee of the horse herd, but she particularly loves hanging out with her best friend seb 💓

You might hear her before you see her 👀 she won't let you forget her at turnout and will make sure her friends aren't turned out before her 😆

She is a lovely reliable girl and fabulous ridden horse for her super owner Mel. Molly even went to camp this year where she took part in absolutely everything from dressage to cross country 🤩

It wouldn't be right to showcase Mol, without paying tribute to her right hand horse Luca, who we sadly lost this year. The three musketeers (Seb, Molly and Luca) are missing one special boy in their gang. Luca was Mollys neighbour and best friend, and he is missed dearly.

Our resident BFG is behind window number 9! ❤️🎄🌟

Bear has won the hearts of everyone at brooklet livery, he is as majestic as he is handsome!

We've been lucky enough to know bear since being a youngster and it's so lovely to see him grow into a lovely kind horse.

He is our chief gate keeper (and treat taster)so he is the first friendly face to greet you!

On the eighth day of Christmas, we bring you a big character on the yard...it's Dino!

Dino is a handsome boy who had become quite the adventurer! He loves hacking as well as having regular lessons. He loves getting out and about and showing off, he even came home with a red ribbon after a dressage competition this year!

He is part of the goofy gelding club, but he has a big heart and loves having fuss from all the hoomans, especially his mum Sheri ❤️ He is also lucky enough to have a loaner, Hailey, who dotes on him too.

We have a pair of very special donkeys for the 7th advent! 🫏🫏

Dillon & Mr. Darcy are much loved members of Brooklet farm who are cared for by lovely Sue. Everyone enjoys to visit the donkeys and feed them a cheeky biscuit 🤭

They offer an alarm service for the other horses by sounding a morning braaaay to let everyone know it's breakfast time!!!

They love to play and you'll often see them running around with their football in the field!

On the 6th day of Christmas we bring you another lovely pair! Molly & Dancer ❤️🎄

They are both ex-racers and doted on by their owner Jen.

Dancer has retired from riding and enjoys a quiet life, whereas molly is just starting her retraining as a ridden horse! She is doing great and has even been on her hack around the village recently 🌟

They both love running around their fields and playing with their friends ❤️ Their mum Jen is doing her equine massage therapy course so they have a very pampered life 💆🏼‍♀️

Next up on the fifth day of Christmas we have a newcomer to the yard - Glen! 🎅

Glen is a an ex-horse who now leads a pampered life in his second career as Caroline's best friend! He has settled in very nicely at Brooklet and is always so well behaved 😇

He loves going on outings and Caroline and Glen will often be found on day trips or clinics having lots of fun.

Glen is one of our best dressed ponies, sporting a very posh clip at the minute. He always looks his best and we think he could probably go on and have a third career as a model!

We have a special duo for our fourth advent - it's Rosie & Mary! ❤️🎁

This lovely pair live on the cobble yard and are loved by Lindsay & Graham.

These two are kind gentle ponies, but they have a sassy side!

Rosie is often seen grooming all her friends in the field and Mary likes to snooze in the paddock in the sunshine.

Behind number 3 on our advert calendar is...Cloud!! 🎁

Cloud is a lovely boy, who must take after his owner Meg who is always super helpful and kind on the yard!

This pair have come on leaps and bounds this summer, where they rode their first ridden show at Prospect Farm show. They came home with a red 1st place ribbon!! Lots of their brooklet friends came to watch and cheer them on ❤️

Cloud loves being out with his herd and spends most of his day smooching one of the mares 👀

Merry Christmas cloud, you better get some mistletoe for the field! 🎄❤️🎅

On the second day of Christmas, we bring you one of our golden oldies - Seb!! 🎅

He lives in the palace at the end of cobble yard and is treated like a king by his lovely owner Leah and loaner Meg.
He is a top contender for "best fed horse on the wirral" as he always has a huge banquet of goodies waiting for him in his stable after a long day in the field with his friends.🍽🥗

Some say he is grumpy, but we all know he has a great loving heart, especially for the queen in his life Molly.

It's tiiiiiiime! Can you believe it's the first of December already?! We all know what that means - the return of the brooklet advent calender!! Where we celebrate lots of our lovely liveries in the build up to Christmas. 🎅

Kicking things off, we have a fairly new boy to the block. Loki moved on to the yard this summer, and from the very first day he arrived, he couldn't escape the whispers from humans and mares alike saying just how utterly drop dead gorgeous he is!
A proper heart throb, but it's not just good looks! He also wowed the yard with his cool tricks at the halloween show.

He is a lovely boy with great manners, thanks to his great owner Kat and her entourage of kids who all love and care for Loki.

Merry Christmas Loki, you deserve all the carrots 🥕🎄❤️

Turnout team assemble! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
Winter can be so hard for farmers and horse owners, especially in challenging weather- we plan for the worst but we're ready to react when the opportunity strikes.
The fields are looking great today so the horses are all out despite the weather worries ❤️🌟

Brooklet Bertie being ridden beautifully by Anna. Bertie is the latest addition to the Brooklet family, he is Donald's latest prospect and has been settling nicely into ridden work over the last few months. 🌟 He is a lovely big horse with lots of potential, so watch this space, hopefully we will be seeing lots more of his adventures with Donald this summer. 🥳

Brooklet Finn being ridden by eventer Anna Stonex. Anna competes with Brooklet Boo, achieving some fantastic results, so it was only right that she came along to work with another member of the Brooklet family. Finn is looking great, and has come on so much. He certainly has an exciting future ahead of him!
