Another great weekend for the boys this week. Day one of the show and wins for both, taking Buzz to grade 6 and Pi to Grade 4 🥳🥳 Pi is showing some amazing potential spending just 5 and a half weeks at grade 3!

The rest of the week became a training week with lots of Es but the chance to try out some more advanced handling and pushing the boys out their comfort zone 🏃🏻‍♀️🐶🐾 I also forgot about my pizza and nearly burnt the caravan down 🔥🫣

Lily was unwell so we had an early return home on Friday morning after a rough night for us both in the caravan. Fortunately she now seems to be coming out the other side of her cold 🤧🤧

This weekend was certainly worth celebrating 🥳🥳

Kelluki this week for Pi was all about training with him being in Limbo. He decided to show off his training with 5 wins 🥳😆🤯 1 second, 1 5th plus 2 clear rounds 🔥🔥 with the icing on the cake being 100% success rate for weaves and contacts over all 4 days 🐶

Buzz was aiming for his last two agility wins to grade 6, instead we had one jumping win followed by a strong run of eliminations 🤣 he waited until the last day for a jumping win then finally the elusive agility win 🐕🐾

Of course the star of the show was little Lily, making friends wherever she went and cracking out the smiles 🤗 a massive thank you to everyone who helped on Pram watch and baby entertainment it was so lovely to catch up with old friends 🥰 and of course a big thank you to the Kelluki Agility team for as always putting on a brilliant show

A weekend of two halves this week at Thames.
Saturday saw Buzz letting out his wild side with a lot of wide turns and generally a bit all over the place. Then Pi wasn’t feeling well with an upset stomach so we decided to call it a day early and went to the pub for lunch instead!

Sunday saw Pi back to his normal self and to celebrate feeling better he did a cracking agility round and took the win taking him up to grade 3 🥳🥳

Buzz went clear in the Kennel club stakes qualifier, he lost a bit of time with a wide turn so ended up in 12th place. Unlikely to be high enough to get us to the semi finals but good to know he is knocking on the door 🐶🐶

Pi then finished off the weekend by sleeping on the job and taking a little nap in the queue for his last run 😆

A bit late but an update from our week away at Dogs in Need agility show. Unfortunately I had a bad back for the first two days meaning I couldn’t run the dogs but Buzz still had a great time running with my sister. He pulled 2 seconds and a third out the back making the final. Unfortunately a handler error from me got us some faults but it was great to be back in the main ring finals for the second year in a row.
This was Pi’s first ever show and a big ask considering he only learnt to weave a couple of weeks ago. His first couple of runs he missed the weave entry and made some baby mistake but on the second day he caught everyone by surprise. A bit of confidence and he not only went clear but came first against 120 dogs on his third ever competitive run. Then just to show me it wasn’t a fluke he ran another lovely clear and came 4th in his next run. Taking it all in his stride and showing some amazing potential.
Loads of amazing bits to take away from the dogs performances as well as a lot of winter training tasks added to the list!

Great weekend at The agility club show for Buzz grabbing himself two first places, two seconds and a thirds as well as qualifying for the dog sport Derby finals in October. Love that all his training has come together so nicely
