We are all so shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing.

A very talented jockey and by all accounts a lovely lad.

Life can be unbelievably cruel, we would like to send our sicere condolences to his family and friends. So very sorry.

We must never take for granted the gift of being able to ride these beautiful animals and always respect the danger we face every time we gut up on one.

A life taken too soon.

Rest in peace young man.

After Bob's antics I gave the tall one and jump on Elvis and on William.

Elvis has come so far, we'll look for something this week to take him to.

He couldn't be more different to Bob 🤣

Blu did great with a very fresh William!

You can tell by my voice I'm so over the British weather, peeing rain and my fingers were completely numb at this point 🤣.

Thank you to for just being bloody amazing and doing so much for us.

I asked him this morning if he could do a rail and nails so we could hang all our bits up as I'm sick of trying to find different bits.

Look at this! It's the little things that gives the most joy 😊 🥰

I thought I'd share the video of Betsy today, I usually keep them for her owners but I'm sure they won't mind.

This is her 4th day ridden and she's a mare who likes to work and use her brain, hence introducing poles.

Very pleasing and the last time was just 👌👏🥰

Well done .

It's very important to read the horse and never ask too much. I know when to step forward with them and when they're not ready.

Watch Pluto having PRP treatment in his leg.

So he has a small hole in the tendon, Peter recommended Platelet Rich Plasma treatment to aid healing and his owners are so good they are happy to do it.

Ooh ill get Bobby to use his bottom hacking slowly on the track....hahaha what a little monkey 🐒 🙈

Coop has also decided to embrace the ways of the Bob, which set Bob off even more.

and I started laughing, which never helps and there were moments I wasn't sure we were going to stop.🙄

Worst ride of the week so far. Well played Bob.🤣

Inspection went well and Henry was lovely.

He was too shy to be interviewed so I thought I'd do you a list of what we have to adhere to.

Payslips and contracts produced for all staff, invoices from self employed part timers.

Health and safety, insurance, risk assessments, yard rules, disciplinary procedures, safeguarding etc. Induction forms and medical questionnaire for all staff.

Fire extinguisher certificates.
Fire drills, we have to do 2 a year now.

What bedding, feed, supplements, what supplier, what brand etc.

Medicine cabinet check and photos.

Medical records, for a couple of months. What drugs, how much, administered by who?

Training agreements for all owners, signed and reissued after fee increases.

Check facilities, gallops, schooling hurdles fences and baby jumps and stalls.

Horsebox details.

First aiders, names etc.

Im sure there's more but that gives you an idea how stringent they are.

It does make me wonder if other areas of horses would do well to have similar policies?

Anyway here's Betsy, we rode her away yesterday and she has been amazing.

I've kept the videos for her syndicate but I will do the odd one for you guys.
