God I'm bored already!
Greg and I spent ages last night. Looking for a ski holiday to fly out today till Wednesday and we found a few places to stay.
Obviously we couldn't decide. I went to bed and then I woke up this morning elbowed him in the ribs and said did you book anything and he said no.
So off I went and got up, ive done three loads of washing and hung the washing up. I'm now harrowing my canter track ready for Sarah to come and have a visit.
Sarah's brilliant at advising about gallops and she oversaw the ones here when they were put in, she's now doing something in conjunction with the BHA I think going round and looking at gallops and assessing what surface is and how it affects horses etc.
Anyway, here's some horses on the walker. Yay.
I doubt we'll go skiing as it's so bloody expensive,it was a nice thought tho 🤣
Back to feeling human again.
Horses are being dealt with as we now know what antibiotics to use.
It's bacterial so we can treat it.
Jimmy is very bright and happy, the rest of them are mad fresh too. One week walking from the end of a 5 day course of baytril.
Well he back full tilt with 5 of them next week and the rest the following Monday.

Well, what can I say...? 2024, you've been a blast.
I actually have no words, this year has been brilliant, some sh*tty times, but they make us appreciate the good times even more.

Not the new year I had envisioned, however we are dealing with it.
We should know later what is going on, we have no idea where it came from but one thing's for sure, it's moved through very quickly.
We have done some trac washes and scanned some lungs this morning and none of the ones we scanned have any abscesses in their lungs, thank the lord.the trac washes should show if it's bacterial or fungal, if nothing shows it's viral.
Happy bloody new year. I may consume some gin and tonight.
Thank you to our amazing vets for being so on it, and for Peter for only swearing at me a few times this morning, I'm slightly neurotic 🙄.
Jimmy will be fine, just a bit of time and lots of drugs.

Both Elvis's this morning.
Blonde Elvis is improving slowly. The small one does so well with him as he's very powerful behind and down hill.
He'll make someone a lovely horse in time, whether that's Ella or someone who wants to do riding club level competition.
Grey Elvis was very fresh this morning, he kept squealing 🤣 and he is a hard horse to keep straight, however occasionally he can do some nice work.
Not to self, flatwork in waterproofs isn't ideal...🤣

I am beyond proud of Blu. It didn't go well schooling in Lambourn and she was scared for me to see the video, as she knew there would be a talking to.
But credit where credits due, she listened and learnt.
