Drew - 4 years - Male - Maine C**n mixed breed
Handsome Drew, a Maine C**n mixed breed, came in as a stray. The wonderful vets and vet nurses noticed he was uncomfortable and did not like the base of his tail touched. Under sedation, he was X-rayed and the result was he had a fractured Ilium (hip) and had some teeth missing. We believe he is around four years of age. Poor Drew has had cage rest and is soon to be castrated and then will be looking for his new home. He does like a fuss and he loves padding when he see's you. He needs a secure garden to call his own. Drew could live with children of 13 plus. Drew's limp may have slowed him down but it does not diminish his capacity for love and loyalty. He would like to be the only cat in the household. Could you offer this magical spirited cat his forever home? Pearl came in heavily pregnant and had her kittens at our facility. One of our wonderful volunteers was able to foster her and look after them, until her kittens were old enough to be rehomed. Pearl finds herself now living with her son, and we would really like them to go together. Ivory is a little shy, so he will need time and handling. They both need a secure garden to potter and play in, and not be near any busy roads or railway lines. They could live with children of secondary school age children, and would like to be the only pets in the household. GUINEA PIGS FOR ADOPTION We have a pair of male guinea pigs and two single males available for adoption. The single ones could be introduced to a female in future (both are neutered). They are cheeky chaps with great personalities. They love to be hand fed fresh vegetables, and of course make a lovely sound when they hear the rustle of the veg bag. They will need a spacious hutch and a run for the garden to stretch and play. They could live with children of 10 plus. Typically the average guinea pig lives for 5-6 years, so please think carefully before applying, as sadly children can sometimes become bored with small pets. Scout - 1 year - Male - White and Tan - CrossbreedMeet bundles of energy Scout. He is a 1-year-old Hound x Beagle. He came into our centre as his owners could no longer care for his needs. Scout is full of life and, as such, will need training/socialising. Scout is very bouncy and is still a puppy, so will need toilet training. Scout loves scent games and his long walks, with his nose always down to the ground having a good sniff. Scout is strong on the lead, so will need an owner who is physically able to hold him on the lead and give him the physical exercise that he really enjoys. He has separation anxiety, so will also need someone around most of the day. We are looking for experienced dog owners with a good-sized, secured, privately-owned garden with 6ft fencing as he can jump. He could possibly live with another dog to show him the way.
