due to the law that was brought in last year we have had a couple of XL Bullys brought into us as strays. the council will cover the euthanasia but won’t cover the cost of cremation not even for a scatter tube! We would like to raise some money for kaiza to have a cremation and then we would like to do something nice for all the XL Bullys ashes to lay them to rest. Because this isnt covered by the council lauren and ashley have had the heartbreaking task of being there for these dogs in their last moments And julie has footed the bill for the cremation etc! Although We wouldnt have it any other way as we are dog lovers. If you would like to help Dogotel raise some money so these gentle giants have a final resting place it would be much appreciated from all of us.

Cancellation and no show charge.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to implement a cancellation and no show charge, I’ve always been very lenient with this but this week alone I have lost £260 just from people not showing up, I have staff now that I have to pay especially on the days that we are busy. From Monday 5th august all grooms will be charged for if you don’t cancel within 24 hours of your appointment and no show charges will be added to your next booking. I hate doing this but I have a waiting list of grooms that I could have booked in!

Update on weather

Due to the heat today and tomorrow we are monitoring how we go today in the salon, we do have air con but sometimes with the blowers etc it can get to hot for the dogs, we take the dogs welfare very seriously here, we will keep you updated!

To all my lovely customers,
it will be 12 years of scruffy 2 fluffy in September, and I’ve loved every minute of it! Bet you all think I’m about to say I’m leaving 😂
Unfortunately I’m sticking around, I have decided to rebrand my business and have changed my name and logo, it was a hasty name pick when I first opened but now I have chosen something that is personal to me and something that my daughter can carry on if she chooses to do so in the future.

Will now be the new business name and I’ve been so excited to share the new logo for a while now!

In the next few weeks the signage and business cards will be on show!

Grooming price list review.

Due to cost of living, products (shampoo, conditioner etc) increase prices, general up keep of grooming room and utilities increase, I will be reevaluating my grooming price list, a new price list will come into force 1st June 2024.
Thank you for your on going custom and support to my business, I hate to change my prices but unfortunately needs must, I will be printing out price list leaflets to help explain cost increases.

Again thank you for all your ongoing support for scruffy 2 fluffy.
