Congratulations to those of you who guessed that the ultrasound we showed was in fact baby rabbits!
What an amazing picture it was to see as we don’t scan rabbits very often.

The lovely mum is seen here getting the news and here are some of her lovely babies- dad is now safely neutered to prevent any more accidents.

(Technically they are also called kittens so let’s say everyone was a winner 🎉)

We do know now of 6 baby rabbits looking for
homes and would be happy to pass on the details of the owner to anyone who can offer a fab lifetime, welfare friendly home. Be aware they will need plenty of space and company.

Animal Connexions are a very worthy cause particularly at the moment with a sudden increase of ten puppies and mum to feed 🥹. You could help by donating to help cover their care.

Betty came in to us as a stray and the dog warden kindly allowed us to get them directly into care of Aninmal Connexions with the support of our nursing team once we realised that she was pregnant. Thank you to her foster home for letting her have a warm safe place ❤️

Our MiNight Vet Lisburn nurse Caroline has been very active in supporting Bettys care and necessary vet visits- we are so lucky to have great staff here who support local charities.

Betty gave birth to 13 puppies- no less then ten survived ❤️❤️

Caring for this many puppies will definitely be a financial drain on this wonderful charity as well as looking after all their other rescue cases. We know they wouldn’t have it any other way but they do need our help to keep doing this.

They stepped up so quickly to take her on and we could not be more grateful to have them available to provide a ‘soft landing’ for dogs like Betty
