As we are now on the countdown to Christmas, if you were still struggling to think of what to get your fur babies this year, look no further as we have the perfect gifts for you!
RVN Caoimhe's cat Disney 100% recommends the toys we have in practice so why not pop on down and have a nosey and pick them up something nice from Santa Paws! 🎄🎅🎁
Ticks 👀How many can you count ?Can you believe these all came off one puppy who saw our vets this week? 🫣It looks like everybody needs to keep using their preventative tick treatments monthly as these guys were still alive and well despite the cold weather !Many flea treatments don’t cover ticks - if you give us a call our team can help you to make sure your pets are covered. Modern tick treatments will kill off any ticks that attach before they can transmit some of their life threatening diseases . Most tick treatments cover fleas too and some cover worms- our team can check your pets lifestyle to find the right product for you. #cromlynvets #hereforyou
A day in the life of a vet 🤩
Can you guess what blood vessel this is? It takes a fair bit of training to know what you are looking at on the screens 😎
Our lovely vet Amy is currently undertaking advanced studies in diagnostic imaging to qualify as advanced veterinary practitioner.
Using colour images like this one she can identify quite unique anatomical landmarks to help direct a patients treatment. It’s amazing being able to see blood flow inside the blood vessels live on the screen at this level of detail isn’t it??

Aren’t cats amazing creatures? How do they take over our homes so easily? Have you got a cat who has just sneakily ‘moved in’?
Sometimes I wonder if there is a ‘vacancy’ sign invisible to us but that feline friends can see 👀👀
This is Fatty - no guesses why he got his name .. a stray has made himself entirely at home with one of our vets - and really thinks all other duties should be forgotten to attend to petting.
