I am Simon King of Holtspinney Gundogs, and my passion is training gundogs, i have been training and working Labradors for at least 15 years, i train mainly Labradors and a few spaniels, i train on varied land ie grass fields, stubble, root crops, woodland and lakes to name a few, i use a wide selection of training equipment from bumper boys to bang boxes and ball droppers or just run of the mill dummy's plus cold game training, i am able to offer 1-2-1 training or group classes from puppy through to adult, from basic training to your picking up companion.

Also i am proud to offer Holtspinney Magical Murphy for stud. Murphy is a stunning working black Labrador, Murphy is a very eye catching dog with a strong athletic build, he is very well bred with many FTCH in his pedigree, he is a proven stud. Murphy has low hip scores of 3/4 and 0 for elbows he holds a current clear eye certificate(2017) and is also hereditary clear for - pra & cnm and Sd2 and EIC clear. Murphy is a stylish dog who really covers ground and has proved to be an asset on the field, feather or fur no problem he loves cover and water and retrieves all his game in style. Murphy has a very biddable, trainable attitude and is never sad or sorry.In addition to his natural working ability first and foremost Murphy is a loyal companion , he has the most amazing temperament, he is fantastic around children and other puppies /dogs, cats and loves a cuddle on the sofa after tea, he really has it all to be suited to both pet and working homes
Microchipping - i am a licensed pet microchipper and am able to offer my services to you, all dogs have to now be microchipped by law, so if you have a new litter, give me a call and i will come to you.
