We have sadly today had a cat brought in to us that was found by the road on Wilbury Hills in Hitchin.

Domestic short haired, tabby, entire male with no microchip. 4 white feet.

We would like to congratulate our fantastic Vet Katie for being picked for the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships 2024 in South Africa in October! She also competed at the weekend to get 3rd place which qualifies her for British Nationals and potentially a spot to do Full Power in South Africa! 💪🏻 So well deserved and we are all so proud 😁🏆

From 10 June 2024 cats over 20 weeks old must be microchipped and registered on a compliant database. 🐾

This includes cats that usually only stay indoors.

By microchipping their cats, owners can increase the likelihood that they will be reunited with their beloved pet if they go missing.

Today marks National Receptionist Day 2024 🥳

Veterinary Receptionists are often a first and last point of contact during a visit to the vet. They provide compassion and a friendly face on your visit.

They are an integral part of the team, making sure the day runs smoothly, and always make sure the treat tin is fully stocked!

A few faces are missing from the picture, however you know who you are and we are extremely grateful for your hard work ❤

*PLEASE SHARE* Nightingale Road area of Hitchin please keep an eye out for a young female tortoiseshell cat. She unfortunately got loose in the car park as her owners were putting the carrier into the car. She has had surgery today and so will be distinctive with a shaved patch on her left side.

A big thank you to our clients and everybody else that has kindly donated food to us recently. We had a rather large delivery dropped off at Blue Cross Hertfordshire rehoming centre today for use within the centre and distribution to the animal food bank. 🐾❤️
