Creature Comforts is a professional and reliable dog walking and pet visiting service that covers Hitchin and all surrounding areas. I understand that your pets are a high priority and you will want to know that they are well cared for when you are not there. This is why I am confident I can offer a happy and caring solution for pets and their owners. I like to think I leave owners guilt-free and

safe in the knowledge that even though they cannot be with their beloved pets they are in good hands for as long as they have to be away. I understand the trust that is placed in a dog walker by an owner, therefore respect, professionalism and your pet's wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do.. I specialise in dog walking where I collect your dog from your house, walk them and then drop them back off again and get them settled in. Whether that be a one-off, every day or even in an emergency, you can count on me to be there when you and your dog need me! I also offer a pet visiting service which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, hamster, fish, etc. I offer discounts for households with multiple animals. I am very experienced and fully insured so you can be sure that your companion is in safe hands with me. Some Of My Services Include:

~ Dog Walking

~ Dog, Cat and Small Animals Visits (One or two visits per day)

~ Pet Taxi - For those without their own transport (within 10 mile radius of Hitchin)

From tomorrow I will be selling these purple knitted poppies for £5 each with 100% of the proceeds going to charity.

The purple poppy is often worn to remember animals that have been victims of war.
Animals like horses, dogs and pigeons were often drafted into the war effort, and those that wear the purple poppy feel their service should be seen as equal to that of human service.

The charity we have chosen is Phoenix French Bulldog Rescue, who Mark and I have had two dogs from, both of whom have needed lifelong medical help.

Thanks to Maureen Ball for knitting these for us and not charging us for the wool xx

This little fella lost his owner tragically last week when she passed away suddenly and I am trying to find him a new loving home.
He is a very affectionate boy, approx 11 years old. Sadly he is highly reactive to other animals so ideally he needs a home with no other pets, and would probably suit someone who spends a lot of time at home.
He can be left for a few hours at a time, but because of his reactivity to other dogs, walking him can be challenging and he’s not a boy you would want to take with you to the coffee shop/pub, etc.

That said, I have been his dog walker for the last 8 years and I have walked him with all different dogs, but it takes a slow and gentle introduction. Once he knows the dog(s) he will happily walk with them time and time again without reaction.

If you would be interested in giving him the security and love he needs, or know of anyone else who may be interested please get in touch with me via Messenger or text/WhatsApp.

Ideally we would like to get him a new permanent home rather than send him to a dog rescue centre.

He is a special case but your patience and love will be rewarded.

If we could find a new owner in Hitchin I’d be happy to continue walking him.
