We are a purpose built, family run farm specialising in retired horses. We pride ourselves on top class care, as though each horse was our own.

No horse’s need is too big or too small. We look forward to hearing from you!

Our hay and haylage is busy being wrapped and brought home, ready for the colder months!

There is just so much grass this year! Fields are being topped of excess grass, and quite a few of the herds have been sectioned off - to help their waistline!

Our local dog walking field is a fantastic safe space!

Quite a few of our owners use the field when coming to visit their horses ❤️

We are very pleased to have recently fenced a grass field solely for dog walking. The field has 6 foot high secure fencing with a fine mesh so small dogs can’t squeeze through or underneath, and high enough so large dogs can’t jump over!

Welcome to Glebe Farm Retirement Livery & Stud!

With over 40 years of experience running a successful livery yard, we have taken the exciting opportunity to open our 30 acres of prime Hertfordshire grazing to retirement liveries.

Sally Frost has over 40 years of experience in the equine field, opening Glebe Farm Livery in 1987. With vast experience with all types of horses, we can offer bespoke care for any horse.

We have 30 acres of lush grazing, all equipped with field shelters, automatic waterers and hedged fence lines. There is 24/7 access to stables when required, including a first aid box.

The owners live on site. We are situated less than 8 miles from a specialised Equine Vet, along with regular visits from our farrier. Every horse is an individual; we are more than happy to accommodate all of your horse’s needs - from medications/feed/specific professionals.
