We are a purpose built, family run farm specialising in retired horses. We pride ourselves on top class care, as though each horse was our own.
No horse’s need is too big or too small. We look forward to hearing from you!

Fia isnt a retirement livery, but lives next door to a lot of the gelding’s fields. She is my (Samantha, I run the pages, hello 👋) new yearling project!
How cute is she 🥰 Enjoying her SPILLERS dinner under the early moon!

Merry Christmas to all our Glebe Farm and Moor Farm Retirement Liveries and their owners! We hope everyone has had a lovely few days of festivities.
Here’s a pic of our youngest member riding Tiny to go and check all the horses on Christmas Eve. They did a great job of helping to open the gates for haylage deliveries at every field!

🐴 We have some exciting news! 🐴
Firstly, we’ve got a lovely new website equineretirementlivery.co.uk!
AND…
The opening of our second retirement farm in Westoning, Moor Farm Retirement Livery!
We welcome our first two horses to Westoning in mid-November. We can’t wait to show the work that has been going on there over the last few months; changing it from a dilapidated cattle farm to the huge, open space it is today.
Please like and share our new page. We look forward to sharing its journey alongside Glebe Farm ❤️🐴☘️

We hope this shows our lovely Haylage! We deliver this as and when they need. The concrete rings we drop them in minimise wastage, and they can’t hurt themselves or get stuck!

Excuse Winnie wanting her ball thrown in the middle of this video!
We have field shelters in nearly all of our fields (ones that don’t have amazing natural shelter). You’d think that they would go in the field shelters when it’s really wet and cold, however we very rarely see them in there at these times!
The most they are used is in the summer for shade ☀️

All the geldings moved to their lush new winter fields this morning and are loving the break in the rain! ☘️🍁
In most of the fields (as seen below) we have a small section separated off with electric fencing - this is so we/owners or vets can handle one of the herd if needed safely on their own. This includes extra feeds/medication too!

Our hay and haylage is busy being wrapped and brought home, ready for the colder months!
There is just so much grass this year! Fields are being topped of excess grass, and quite a few of the herds have been sectioned off - to help their waistline!

With over 40 years of experience running a successful livery yard, we have taken the exciting opportunity to open our 30 acres of prime Hertfordshire grazing to retirement liveries.
Sally Frost has over 40 years of experience in the equine field, opening Glebe Farm Livery in 1987. With vast experience with all types of horses, we can offer bespoke care for any horse.
We have 30 acres of lush grazing, all equipped with field shelters, automatic waterers and hedged fence lines. There is 24/7 access to stables when required, including a first aid box.
The owners live on site. We are situated less than 8 miles from a specialised Equine Vet, along with regular visits from our farrier. Every horse is an individual; we are more than happy to accommodate all of your horse’s needs - from medications/feed/specific professionals.
