Meeting and caring for Iggy and Garrus last week was a pleasure! Garrus is a shy boy and takes time to warm to new people so normally hides. But within just a couple of days he was sat waiting for his breakfast and even felt comfortable enough to eat around me ☺️ A true honor! Handsome Iggy is braver and was very affectionate. Really lovely boys 💙🐾

When it's too hot to go for a walk, playtime in the shade of the garden is more fun instead. Buddy was not disappointed with his afternoon visit 🥎🐾

🌡As the hot weather continues, here are a few tips for keeping pets cool in summer.

• Walk dogs at coolest times, morning or evening
• Do 'the pavement test' before walking dogs on it
• Ensure they have plenty of shade
• Provide lots of cool water, change regularly
• Some may like ice cubes in water bowl or to lick
• Frozen treats, kongs or lick mats
• Damp towels or cool mats to lie on
• Groom pets to remove excess fur/hair
• Move pets in cages/tanks out of direct sunlight
• Use thermometer to track temperature
• Place frozen water bottles/ice packs against outside enclosures for small rodents or wrapped in a towel inside for rabbits and guinea pigs
• Monitor your pets for signs of heat stoke

NEVER leave pets in the car, it can get dangerously hot extremely quickly 🥵

It's hard to believe that it was 2 years ago that my little business was brought to life. I didn't expect it to grow and present me with so many amazing opportunities.
