Phoenix Pet Care is an overnight in-home pet sitting service covering all aspects of daily care 24/7. I am fully insured and well versed in basic pet first aid.

I have been looking after pets professionally for over 8 years. Growing up, I spent my childhood on a small goat farm and was involved of all aspects of livestock care from milking to new born care. I have never been far from a dog or cat and have also owned chickens, fish and a variety of rodents. Throughout my time as a pet sitter, I have looked after many different breeds of dogs, cats, farm an

imals, and the occasional reptile! I am passionate about what I do and aim to deliver top notch care designed to fit you and your pets' needs. Hazel and I have been enjoying some lovely early morning beach walks! 😎🏖 There's still a chill in the air but we've been lucky to have less rain this week to enjoy the coast! Hazel may move a little slowly sometimes but she absolutely loves going out in the mornings and sprints up to friends she knows hoping to find a pocket full of treats. 😅 She's such a darling girl. 💙

I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know sweet Hazel! She is a darling 14 year old girl but don't be fooled, she doesn't let her age stop her from loving life!! She lives for biscuits and loves romping about by the sea. Occasionally she will spring into action and have a play like she's a pup again. 😅 She is absolutely lovely and I'm looking forward to spending the week with her. 😌

Just wrapped up a lovely week with these three yesterday. 😊 It was a privilege to get to know Elsa and gain her trust and Margot and Freya were absolutely lovely as well. I look forward to seeing them again. Brilliant dogs! 🐾

In addition to sweet Elsa, I am also looking after the beautiful Margot (English Setter) and Freya (Irish Setter) this week! 😍 They are both stunning dogs and they absolutely know how beautiful they are. 😅 Freya is a bit older but still loves to chase a ball and is as gentle as can be. Margot has a bit more energy and loves food. Her food, your food, any food she's ever met. 😂 They both enjoy lounging by a warm fire and are very good company. I'm enjoying getting to know all three lovely pups!

This is what it's all about!
Little Elsa was rescued from Romania and ended up in some less than ideal circumstances before being adopted by her wonderful new family. Due to her past, she has a lot of trauma and reactive responses to different triggers. Although she has come a long ways, she still gets nervous meeting new people, which is totally understandable. She is especially mistrusting of men so we were all hoping she would warm up to me in a couple days. When I first arrived this afternoon, she was very protective of her mum and didn't want me near or touching her. After her people had gone, she barked for about 15 minutes as I talked to her and coxed her with treats. It was more of a fear response than anything. However, within an hour, she went from scared and upset to nestled up to me on the sofa and even climbing on my lap! She is now happy with being stroked and much calmer, like a completely different dog! I'm so proud of her for giving me her trust so quickly. It's so rewarding when a particularly anxious animal decides you are a safe person. Looking forward to getting to know this special girl over the coming week. 😊🐾

What an incredible year 2024 has been!! It was my busiest yet and I am so very grateful to all my clients who have entrusted me with their precious furry friends! They have helped make my year absolutely fantastic. We have been on so many adventures together... Countless walks, even more poo bags 😂, many cuddles, muddy paws, fur everywhere, always an extra buscuit, and a lap that's always full. I wouldn't have it any other way. 😌
THANK YOU for giving Phoenix Pet Care the best year yet. Wishing you all a very prosperous and happy 2025. May you never be far from a wagging tail and a pair of bright eyes.

I've been a bit quiet the past couple weeks due to hosting friends, traveling for Christmas, and coming down with a nasty sickness. Slowly getting back into the swing of things as we all muddle through that odd week between Christmas and New Years. 😅 Here's a few pics from my last job and my current clients who I will be ringing in the New Year with! Happy to be back with this little gang! We are having a lovely time and enjoying festive walks looking for Christmas lights in the evenings. Lottie, Zale, and Ærwyna have been very good this year and hope Santa Paws visits soon. 😅🐶🎅

I've just had a lovely weekend with Mr. Blue! We weathered the storm for a couple nights and kept nice and warm and cozy inside. Blue is a cuddley giant. He's very big for a Shepherd but wouldn't hurt a fly. He's very loving and gentle and such a stunning dog. Absolutely majestic. I loved getting to know him and can't wait for next time. 😊🐾

Indie and I took a drive out to the coast this afternoon! It was breezy and chilly but invigorating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our romp! The sea was moody and wild and Indie loved getting sole fresh salty air. 🌊

Enjoying some fair autumn weather the past couple days with this beautiful bunch. Great for long afternoon walks and kitty cuddles in the evenings.
Indie is such a happy pup, especially when we are out walking. She loves time outside and finding new places to explore. She also loves her meal times and gets so excited when she sees the food coming. 😅 She loves lounging in her favourite comfy chair or on a sofa and is a big fan of pillows. Creature if comfort. 😊
Lillith the fluffy grey kitty prefers to be rather aloof a lot of the time but will randomly appear in my lap as the most affectionate cat ever. 😆 She loves head pats and I swear she smiles when I stroke her between the ears. She is mesmerised by the reflection my phone makes on the ceiling and will stare up at it as long as I'm moving it around. Freddy loves lounging in his favourite spots but sometimes he will get a burst of energy and walk around 'talking'. He's got a lot to say. 😅 He loooves treats and will sit on his hind legs waving his paws at me when he wants them. How can you say no to that? He also become very affectionate at times but on his own terms. Typical cat behaviour. 😆 I'm loving the big personalities these sweet pets have!
