I’m heartbroken to say that we had to help Tara across Rainbow Bridge on Sunday 😢
She wasn’t herself on Friday so I took her to the vets, they diagnosed a sudden onset of a Grade 4 heart murmur, a scan showed a leaky aortic heart valve and other complications, she was admitted for a few days but unfortunately nothing could bring this under control. We brought her home on Sunday for a few hours, and later that evening the vet came to our house and ensured she passed peacefully in her favourite bed. She would have been 13 in April - a good age for a greyhound especially after suffering a stroke 5 years ago, not that it makes it any easier 💔😢

I’ll catch up and post photos shared etc in the next few days ….
