Happy New Year to everyone. Since moving Farm last Summer we encountered a whole host of difficulties to work through. We had Covid on the farm, Countrywide seed shortages, and we've changed soil suppliers at least 3 or 4 times. I'm glad to say we have come through it all stronger than ever.
'Keep Going, Keep Growing' has definitely been our mantra. Here's to a prosperous 2022.

Another late night harvest, and really excited to trial a new crop ‘Alfalfa’. The word ‘Alfalfa’ comes from an Arabic phrase meaning, “father of all foods”. This definitely deserves to be added to our growing collection and will soon be available for order.

I love homemade soups, especially when you add ‘Microgreens’. ‘Broccoli Shoots’ have a really mild flavour so are brilliant to add to soups and smoothies, giving a massive boost of nutrients as well as being delicious 😋

One of the massive benefits of Growing ‘Microgreens’ is that we get to eat any spare. This is one of my favourites meals if you want something quick yet delicious and extremely nutritious. Add some of the ‘Pea Shoots’ to a quiche or omelette. So good.

From the study we mentioned in our previous post, its actually 'Radish shoots' that top the charts and a particular variety called the 'Daikon Radish' which holds the number 1 spot being 40 times more nutrient dense than its adult counterpart. we grow a radish mix with varieties including Red Rubin, Vulcano, China Rose, and yes you guessed it, Daikon.
