I just want to say Merry Christmas 🎄🎄 to all of my human and kitty clients and any followers of the page. I really appreciate the lovely humans for continuing to trust me to groom your cats, it must be very nerve-wracking trying to find the right groomer for your feline family member and I'm glad you chose me 😻😻

Just a moan about payment times, deposits are to be paid within 24 hours otherwise I will automatically open up the appointment to other clients. Any outstanding groom payments need to be paid at the time of the groom or if I send a message with the outstanding payment, this needs to be paid within 24 hours of me sending that message. If late payment is a regular thing for anyone, I'll ask for the payments to be made on the day of the groom and I will wait for it to be paid while I am there.
I hate having to reiterate this but I shouldn't have to chase people. The reason for this moan is because recently I've had a few late payments up to a week late which is not acceptable. I have bills to pay like everyone else, I'm sure if your employer paid you this late you would be pretty annoyed. I don't want to have to introduce late payment fees. I'm sorry for the rant, it's not the message that I wanted to leave before I have my Christmas break. 😠😡

I visited British shorthair Molly recently for her maintenance groom. Molly is a mature girl and doesn't particularly like being groomed. Her fur is thick so she needs regular grooming otherwise she gets tufty. 🐾🐈

I gradually made my way through her coat with a comb removing a massive pile of undercoat, I trimmed Molly's claws and cleaned her ears/eyes too. Molly was very vocal during the groom, this is usual for our sessions! Her mum keeps her a bit quieter by giving her a lovely lick e Lix treat. 😋😋

Molly decided to tuck into some food after her groom, she wasn't impressed in the slightest that she looked and must have felt a lot better. 💟😻

19 year old Lola is a Birman, she was rescued by her new mum earlier this year. She quickly established that Lola is not the usual friendly Birman and doesn't like much contact with humans at all! 😂😂 Lola just likes to sleep, is a fussy eater, brushing is a no no but she loves a bit of primula as a treat. 😋😋

When it comes to our sessions it is difficult for Lola, she's got some dementia and probably hs achy joints. Lola had to have quite a bit of fur shaved last time, this time her fur needed combing through but it was quite built up so she still didn't like this. I gave Lola plenty of breaks, she settled down for some of the groom and then suddenly became anxious again so I took my time. I trimmed Lola's claws and cleaned her ears too. 🐾🐈

Lola didn't mind posing for some after groom photos, I think that was preferable over being groomed 💟💟

I visited Mr G recently so he could have his pre Christmas groom 🌲🌲
Mr G is a ragdoll mix, his coat is pretty good and he's got a wonderful temperament. ❤️❤️

I combed through his coat, cleaned his ears and trimmed his claws, mane and trousers. Mr G didn't complain at all during the groom, he just laid there and enjoyed his pampurr session. Merry Christmas Mr G, he's such a handsome boy🎄 🎄

This is Bleu, he's a Ragdoll boy who I groom regularly. His family recently had a scare when Bleu accidentally ingested a toxin so had to go to the vet to be treated. Thankfully he pulled through but some of his fur got a bit matted. 💟💟

Beau was his usual vocal self, he gets better with each groom but he still doesn't particularly enjoy our sessions.
I clipped the mats from under his armpits and gave his coat a good comb through to remove the undercoat. He definitely had his winter coat, it was so much thicker than when I groomed him three months ago. 🐑🐑

Bleu enjoyed his lick e Lix treat and happily rolled around on the floor making the most of his new lighter coat! 😻😻

Bear is a M c**n boy, he's a regular on my table along with his brother Wolf.

Wolf (not in the photo) was up first, he is more nervous so he has his mum with him during the groom. He did much better for this groom so we know he much prefers his mum being there to give him a fuss/support. 💟💟 I combed out a good amount of undercoat and clipped the odd mat.

Bear is apparently not great for humans when they try to groom him but he's the perfect gentleman for me. When Bear needed a break we had a game of, "catch Bear when he hides on the other side of the kitchen island"! Bear's fur was pretty good, I just needed to comb quite a lot of undercoat out. 🐾🐈

They both had their claws trimmed and ears cleaned and looked very handsome. Bear likes to pose for his after photos 😻😻

Pebbles is a British shorthaired girl, sh had her first professional groom with me recently. She's not used to having new people in the house so she wasn't sure when I first arrived 🐾😺

Pebbles was a bit nervous to start with but treats helped give her something else to think about. She soon settled down and I think she quite enjoyed the groom. 💟💟

I combed through Pebbles' coat, trimmed her claws and cleaned her ears. Pebbles fur was in a good condition so this was a perfect shorter session for her first professional groom, well done Pebbles ❤️❤️

It's always a fluff fest when I visit this 4 cat, Persian household 😂😂 Their mum does her best to keep up with their coats but she'd have to groom them all twice daily to keep on top of them. 😺🐾

Max (red) had a few mats all over so the lion cut was the best option for him. He was pretty good but needed to be distracted with some Lick e Lix when I needed to shave his trousers. 👖👖After the groom he hung around to get extra fuss.

Leo (light grey) has the thickest coat, he had some mats, the rest of his coat was pretty thick and he's not the most tolerant when I comb through his fur so he also had a lion cut. 🦁🦁

Ollie (dark grey) is the smallest of the four, he also had quite a few mats so another lion cut was needed.

Sam (no photo) has a thinner coat so I was able to comb through most of it to remove the dead undercoat and clip the odd mat. Sam decided not to hang around for photos. 😂😂

All of the boys had their claws trimmed too. They are lovely boys but all of them are pretty wriggly during their grooms, their mum helps by supplying them with a liquid cat treat while I do the grooming. 😋😋

Mia had her maintenance groom with me this week, she's also a regular kitty client and is on a 10-12 week schedule.
Even though Mia is used to our sessions she is still a bit wriggly. 🐈🐾

Mia's fur is still pretty thick I managed to remove a lot of undercoat and some knots with the comb. She never likes her trousers being tampered with so we did this in short bursts to avoid her becoming too annoyed. I trimmed her claws and cleaned her ears to complete her pampurr session 💟💟

Mia is so used to me now she immediately went to her bowl and asked me to put some food in it!

Pickle is a very cute, large, M C**n boy. I groom him regularly so he's very used to our sessions. Pickle used to try to get off of the table as much as he could, he now lays down immediately and accepts his fate 🤣🤣

Pickle's coat is still growing back after having a late summer lion cut so this groom was shorter for him. I combed through his coat, trimmed this claws and I also trimmed his large mane so it doesn't get stuck on his tongue so much when he tries to groom himself. 🐈🐾

Pickle was rewarded with Lick e Lix during the groom, I think this is why he now stays on the table because he knows he's getting his favourite treat ❤️❤️ Pickle is my star cat of December, he's such a good boy 💟💟

Beau is a domestic longhaired girl, she's a bit chunky so she struggles to groom herself. The last time I groomed her she was very matted all over so we've now got her a 12 week maintenance schedule. 🐾🐈

Beau doesn't particularly like being groomed so I can see how her dad struggles to keep her mat free. Beau isn't aggressive but even with me she just tried to get away and gave me the constant sad eyes! 🥺🥺

Beau's coat is still growing back so it shouldn't have taken that long to do the groom but Beau managed to escape the table a few times, she's a strong girl! Once the groom was finished, Beau chilled out with her new valerian pillow like nothing had happened! 🤣🤣

I visited Esther, Eira, Elise and Ellie recently for their maintenance grooms. This was a pre Christmas treat for them....not sure they saw it as a treat though! 🤣🤣

Esther (grey and white shorter fur) was up first, she is a sweet girl but hates having her claws trimmed 😈😈!! once the claws were trimmed she did pretty well with the rest of the groom as long as the Lick e Lix was there to distract her.

Eira (white) is the newest member of the feline family, here mum had a job to catch her for the groom but once she's with me she's the best behaved, she loves a fuss so during the groom she just sat and enjoyed it ❤️❤️

Elise was very wriggly during the groom, she just won't sit still. Her fur is much thicker than Esther, her sister and she is a bigger girl so to get through her coat is a bit of a challenge while she's constantly wriggling. Lick e Lix helped to keep her still a bit more. 😋😋

Ellie (black) was pretty good for her groom, she was a bit wriggly but she did well. Ellie was also partial to the Lick e Lix treat which made her almost forget she was having a groom 🤣🤣

All of the girls had a thorough comb through of their coats, claw trim and ear clean. They are now ready for the festive season 🌲🎄

This handsome chap is Ned and he's a British longhair boy. Ned's winter coat had really come in, he looked twice his normal size 🤣🤣

Ned did pretty well for this groom, he's always a bit sensitive when I groom his trousers and belly so I do these areas in short bursts. As you can see his mane is rather large so I trimmed this so it doesn't get dipped in his food or stuck on his tongue quite so much. 🐈🐾

Ned decided to take one of his breaks on the kitchen worktop, he tried to blend in by pretending to be a kitchen appliance! 🤣🤣

This little lady is Callie, she's just over one years old and this was her first professional groom. Although she's a Persian Chinchilla mix her coat isn't particularly thick. 🐾😺

Callie wasn't sure about me or my grooming equipment at first but she did very well. She let me trim her claws, comb through her coat and trim her trousers. Callie had a Lick e Lix as a reward during her short breaks which she really enjoyed 😋😋

Once the groom was over she rolled around with her new valerian toy and looked pretty relaxed 😻😻

Rubeus is a young M C**n boy, he's on a 12 week schedule to prevent mats in his fur. He's not keen on our sessions but we get through it with a fuss from his mum, Lick e Lix distractions and a few breaks. 🐾🐈

Rubeus hissed at me straight away when he was first on the grooming table. He gradually calmed down and stopped hissing once he knew nothing scary was happening. There was only the odd small mat to clip, I trimmed his claws and removed quite a bit of undercoat with the comb. 😺🐾

Furby is a Persian girl, her mum had given her a rough trim of her coat but she had still developed some mats on her underside and in her trousers. Shorter Persian coats still need combing to prevent mats due to the denseness of their fur. 💟💟

Furby is a wriggly little thing, she isn't very tolerant of being combed but I still did this to prevent further mats. I clipped the mats on her underside and trimmed her claws too. 🐾🐈

Furby was very relieved when the groom was over, she gave herself a thorough wash. She glared at me and refused my peace offering, a tube of Lick e Lix! 🤣🤣
