Suzy had her maintenance groom with me recently, she's not a fan of our sessions but is usually a good girl. Her mum had an unexpected house disaster (flood) the morning of the groom so there was quite a bit of noise from a wet hoover which put her on edge 😱😱

I gave Suzy plenty of breaks during the groom but I could tell the noises from the hoover were making her even more anxious. I managed to comb out most of the knots but I had to clip a couple too. I trimmed Suzy's claws and cleaned her ears too.

Suzy was very relieved to go to her quiet hiding spot afterwards to decompress. 💟💟

Norman (photo) and Gus had their maintenance grooms recently. Their humans were off on holiday so wanted them to be nicely groomed before their cat sitters came to visit. 💟💟

Gus is a big softy but he's not a fan of our sessions. He actually did very well though and I was able to give his coat a good de-shed to remove the dead fur . 😺🐾 Gus always vanishes after the groom so no there are no photos of him.

Norman is more outgoing compared to Gus, so he tells me off regularly during the groom 😂😂 I was able to give his coat a good comb, it was quite thick so it definitely needed it.

Both boys had their claws trimmed and ears cleaned too 🐾🐈

I visited Beau for her maintenance groom recently. She's a domestic longhaired girl, she struggles to groom certain parts because she's a large girl.
💟💟

Beau has a thick coat so I combed out a big pile of undercoat during this session. She's a good girl but she is quite vocal during her groom. I also trimmed her claws and cleaned her ears to finish the session off.

Beau did accept a fuss after the groom and she allowed me to take a photo 📷🐾

I groomed Ned recently, he's a British longhaired boy who's lovely natured until it comes to being groomed! I've tried many approaches over the years but none have worked! 🐾😂

Ned was particularly spicy for this groom so I did bursts of grooming to try and get his coat combed as much as possible. Ned can't even be distracted with food! I had to clip one area of fur because he wouldn't let me comb through the thickened patch.

Ned is such a handsome boy, even if he does look grumpy after his groom 😂📷

India is an older, domestic longhaired, girl who also has thumbs (polydactyl), I always forget until I go to trim her claws and realise she has extra! 😂😂

India isn't a great fan of our sessions but she does pretty well. She only kicks up a fuss when I comb her underside. I gave her coat a good comb through, it was quite a bit thicker compared to the last time I groomed her.

She hung around after her groom for food so I took the opportunity to take a photo of her "not impressed" face 😂📷

Mr Bigglesworth was on my grooming table again recently, his fur has just exploded in the last 8 weeks. During the colder months, Persian coats can double in size so are even more tricky to manage. 💟💟

Mr B is always such a sweetie during his groom, I have to cuddle him in between grooming him because he's just so cute! 🥰🥰

I gave his coat a good de-shed with the comb, trimmed his claws, trimmed the fur on his chest and trousers and cleaned his ears and eyes. He becomes Mr Wrigglesworth when I try to comb his feet and back legs, but apart from that he's a very good boy. 😻😻

I visited Elise (photo) and Esther for their maintenance grooms recently. They are sisters, are both grey and white but Elise is the biggest of the two with a much fluffier coat. 💟💟

Elise can be a bit vocal during her grooms, she's not aggressive though I just think she would rather do something else 😂😂. I gave her coat a good comb through, trimmed her claws and cleaned her eyes and ears. She then posed like a model afterwards 😻📷

Esther is not well, she's got a tumour so her humans are keeping her comfortable with pain medication. Her fur is not in the best of condition so I did what I could to make her comfortable without stressing her too much, she's still a feisty thing when she wants to be! I combed out a few knots and clipped some mats and made her look a bit tidier. Esther didn't want to hang around for a photo .💟💟

Little Crystal had her maintenance lion cut with me recently, she doesn't tolerate combing very well so this keeps the mats away. 💟💟

Crystal becomes fed up quite quickly during the groom so I have to work quickly but safely to get most of the coat off. When she becomes fed up she climbs my body so I give her a break 🐾😺 this was one of the tidiest lion cuts so far so she might just be getting used to me after two years!

I was also able to trim Crystal's claws after several attempts and clean her ears and eyes. 🐈🐾

I think this is the only non blurry photo I've managed to take of Crystal after her groom. I think she looks like she's judging me from the top of the stairs in true Persian style 😂😂

Charlie had a groom with me recently, he's an older domestic longhaired boy who likes to go outside and get debris in his fur! 😂😂

Charlie's humans are going away for an extended holiday so they booked him in for his maintenance groom early to see if we can try and prevent mats while they are away. 🤞🤞

Charlie did much better for this groom, he's not a fan of having to stay in one place for any length of time. I gave his coat a good comb through, checked his claws and cleaned his ears. Isn't he a handsome chap 😻😻

I visited Silky (photo) and Willow recently, they are both mature Persian mix girls. I've been grooming these girls for three years so they are really used to our sessions. 💟💟

Now that it's colder weather we decided against a short style so this time they both had a good comb through and a trim in various places. They both had their claws trimmed and their ears and eyes cleaned too.

Silky quite enjoyed the pampurr until I did something she didn't like and then she gave me a quick telling off! Most of the time she is a sweetie. 🥰🥰

Chloe (tabby) and Callie (Calico) had their maintenance grooms with me recently. 😺🐾

Chloe has a mild sedative otherwise she tries to savage me during a groom! We still have to distract her with Lick e Lix so I'm able to get a proper groom done. 😂😂 I gave her fur a good comb through to remove the dead undercoat, I trimmed her trousers and mane.

Callie's an exotic shorthaired Persian and her fur has become much thicker since the first time I groomed her. She's more amenable during the groom compared to Chloe, in fact I think she quite enjoys it. 💟💟 I combed out a massive pile of undercoat, I think even Callie was surprised!

Both girls had their claws trimmed and ears and eyes cleaned. Chloe and Callie love posing for photos after their pampurr session. 🥰

Freddie is an older girl so her fur builds up quite easily, her mum struggles to groom her for any length of time. I removed a good amount of undercoat with the comb, trimmed her claws and cleaned her ears. 🐾😺
