Each year at Tree Tops we take part in the David Bellamy Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature, to ensure we're doing all we can to protect and encourage local wildlife on the Park.

🦔 In 2023 we completed the 'Home Sweet Home' Challenge.
We already had plenty of bird and bat boxes as well as bug hotels around the Park, and as part of the challenge we added hedgehog, woodpecker, and housemartin houses, owl boxes, a lizard lounger area, and log piles to provide shelter for wildlife.
As an added bonus, wherever we can, we make these using recycled materials from around the Park!

🦋 We're delighted to have recently completed the 2024 Challenge - 'Pollinator Patch'!
We grow as many of our plants as possible on-site and carefully choose plants that will attract bees and other pollinators and provide them with plenty of nourishment in their feeding seasons throughout the year.

A local beekeeper also has beehives on the Park. The 🐝 bees thrive here, with plenty of nectar being provided by the flowers, and produce a couple of batches of delicious honey 🍯 each year that our Tree Toppers thoroughly enjoy!

We are delighted to announce that we have won our category for the 2024 Wales in Bloom competition. This is our 31st win in the competition.

Tree Tops spans 18 acres, it’s a huge task to prepare the park for the competition .
