There are many different reasons owners like to use a secure facility to exercise their dog.

Sometimes dogs need somewhere safe and secure to play and there are a variety of reasons why, including:

🐾 Nervous or anxious dogs
🐾 Dogs who need to be let off the lead alone
🐾 Dog walkers and doggy daycare owners
🐾 Bi***es in season
🐾 Dogs who need help with recall or have a prey drive
🐾 Trainers who need a peaceful training space
🐾 Puppies
🐾 A fun, beautiful space to meet friends and their dogs
🐾 Shift workers can exercise their dog in the dark knowing they are safe

In the United Kingdom, the Kennel Club UK recognises over 200 distinct breeds of dogs, a testament to the incredible diversity found within the canine world.

The seven main categories include:

🐶 Gundog Group: These are breeds originally bred to assist hunters in retrieving game. They are known for their intelligence, trainability, and friendly disposition. Examples include the Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, and Cocker Spaniel.

🐶 Hound Group: This group includes breeds that were historically used for hunting, either by scent or sight. They are often independent and active. Examples include Beagles, Greyhounds, and Dachshunds.

🐶 Terrier Group: These breeds were bred for hunting vermin and small animals. Terriers are typically energetic, feisty, and determined. Examples include the Jack Russell Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Border Terrier.

🐶 Toy Group: These are small companion breeds bred primarily for companionship. They are often playful, affectionate, and well-suited for apartment living. Examples include the Chihuahua, Pug, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Each breed has unique traits, including size, coat type, energy level, and temperament, making it possible for individuals and families to find a dog that perfectly suits their lifestyle.

Please make sure you pick up all of your dog's waste before leaving your session at the dog park. We have disposal bins provided on site for you to use during your time with us.

We actively encourage everyone to follow this to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time while using the park.
