Yesterday we bid goodbye to the lovely Twiglet, whom we have had with us for the last month to aid in the first steps of his rehabilitation following surgery. It wasn’t the most straightforward path for him, but we wish Twiglet and his lovely owner Laura Dennis all the best on his next step of his programme at ESP Equine with Emma Steele-Perkins 🍀

Following a successful rehab case making their way home as of mid November, we will have one livery space available; part, full or rehab/schooling livery.

Last week we welcomed some new residents;
⭐️ Twiglet has come to us for box rest and initial walk work. During the process we will be working in conjunction with Emma Steele-Perkins at ESP Equine following his surgery, who will have him in her care to increase the walking and rehab, to be able get him back to full fitness and comfort to allow his lovely owner, Laura Dennis, to enjoy a future together.

⭐️ Amber, owned by Marie Sasha, a lovely 4yr old TB mare, has come to us as schooling livery to be able to enhance her knowledge of a ridden career.

Lovely day at Pontispool for the Cotswold cup…Millie and Chester took their first step up a level and did an amazing job …will have to sort brakes for next one to prevent them jumping the wrong side of the flags at the steps !!!

They both have done amazingly well, and anyone that knows the journey we have gone along with Chester physically will know it has taken an amazing team effort to get them both to this level.

She may be young, but she has a very mature head on her shoulders and very trainable.
Easy uncomplicated ride, that has all the basics for someone to produce and put their own stamp on.
Suitable for a competitive teenager or small adult.
She will excel in any sphere; she has a correct, balanced expressive movement for dressage coupled with her boldness and technique to jump.
Ultimately, she oozes rideability.
Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic.

A successful day out at dauntsey horse trails for millie and our long standing livery at Four Star Equine Livery Services, Chester securing 9th place in testing holding ground. Sadly an unfortunate tack malfunction whilst on course put pay to a 2nd place finishing but onwards and upwards to the next and excited for the next event. A huge thank you to Chester’s owner Alison Perry and to our sponsor ESP Equine.

A couple of recent babies that have been in for breaking are coming along nicely.
⭐️ 3yr old connermara pony; from starting long reining, lunge work to now confidently hacking under saddle. Soon to return to owner for a well deserved holiday until next year to continue her education.
⭐️ 4yr old “Black Sam Bellamy” in for breaking/pre training has been a more complexed character that has required greater patience and understanding to gain his trust to accept a rider above him is now happily doing so now on wards and upwards to exploring the wider world out hacking.

Very proud of these two!

It was lovely to see, and be a part of Jasmin Walls and Arlos journey from an unbroken youngster to their first dressage competition, this evening. They both work so hard and deserve every smile and happy moment they both create together.
