Drifting off in to La La land and thinking about yourself isn’t going to provide an interesting walk for your dog and when they get bored of you, that’s when you get problems.
Recalling your dog when every time you see another dog, keeping them engaged with fun things to do should be the challenge of every walk. It doesn’t make them antisocial if they’ve already got good dog friends, infact it will prevent them from having frightening experiences which could potentially turn your dog reactive.
