It's looking to be a hot 🔥🥵 few days, I will do my best to continue but it may not be an option as I will always put the welfare of the dogs before a haircut. I will most likely be doing the cut and wash but doing a ruff dry in this heat and letting them fully dry in the sun ☀️ it's the only fair way in the van.
I may be running early due to this I will update as the day progresses.
Ps any cold drinks or pops will be gratefully received I'm sure 😜🥵🔥☀️

We are now fully insured to accept XL Bullies for bathing, nails or teeth.
There are guidelines I need to adhere to but as I'm in a van at my discretion the dogs can be unmuzzled while they are groomed (unless in the summer months and I need the door open).
I don't feel an XL bully should be treated any differently to any other dog😁🐕🐾

Just a quick reminder for everyone...
Please please please only ever plug me into a wall socket not an extension cables.
I am finding I constantly have to replace plugs as they are melting 😢🙈the hairdryer in the van has a very high pull on power and household extension cables can't cope especially if linked in to my extension cable😢

I will be trying to continue to trade through this hot spell as much as humanly possible but I need to be sensible, in my van it is far hotter than outside🥵🥵
Therefore if the weather is hot I will only rough dry the dogs as it would be cruel to use a hairdryer on them in for more than a couple of mins.
For this reason I may well be running early as I will be getting dogs in and out as fast as I can so they stay cool 😎 I will let you know through the day if this is likely and give you as much notice as possible.
I may need to move a day to another if the heat is forecast too hot to proceed on the booked day.
Please bare with me through this rather warm spell I will do my best to keep going throughout🥵😇
Any cold drinks will be gratefully received I'm sure 😜🥵see u soon enjoy the 🌞 and keep the pups safe 😊

Just to say I am doing all I can to continue to trade through this rather 🥶🥶cold snap, the van has heaters on timers in various places to try and prevent things freezing up but I can't guarantee it's going to work🥶🥶🥶 so please forgive me if I text to say I'm running a bit late, or I text to say I'm running early lol. I will either be delayed as something needs more defrosting or early because I can't have breaks or the pipes will freeze🙈🤦 not sure which I prefer this or baking sun 🤣😎😎🌞🌞
I will do my best to be on-time but just in case 🥶🥶🥶

I'm afraid it's come to the point I've been putting off for months😢😢😢
I've been trying to keep prices as they are as I am aware it's hard for us all. But the time has come where I have no choice🙈 the petrol is massively higher, supplies mostly come from America so higher in price and harder to get hold of🙄 I've been swallowing the difference as long as I can but this month I've had to chase people so I actually have enough to pay myself.
I have work I need to do on the van and equally a tax bill in Jan to find so I have no option🙄
All grooms from Oct 1st will increase by £5.
Also I need to slightly change things in that all grooms to be paid for ON THE DAY OF THE GROOM, any late payment will be subject to a £2 a day additional charge unless previously agreed prior to the groom.

If the weather forecast stays as it is for Monday/ Tues next week I'm going to have to move the appointments. It won't be fair on the dogs or me 😜I suffered bad heatstroke last Friday in the van so it clearly needs to be postponed slightly.
I will be in contact over the weekend when I return from my training and sort out a different day 😇

It's that time of year again to be very mindful of ticks, fleas and grass seeds😜
Always check between your dogs toes for seeds daily or they can work their way into the body and travel around🙈🙈

I hate to be a moaning mini but please if you are paying via bank transfer it is due before or on the day of the groom. I spend my nights and weekends chasing people 🙈I am currently £288 outstanding some from the beginning of march 🙄
Can you please try and pay promptly it will make my life much easier and allow me to relax on my time off!

Introducing my new colleague... my little GT 😊 he is now of an age he can join me if the weather is ok and I'm not too busy☺️👍🏻 He is trained to guard so please don't greet him inside the cab just let sleeping dogs lie 😴😴I can get him out after the groom if u want to meet him and he will enjoy jumping all over u and giving u kisses I'm sure 🤣🤣🤪🤪

Today is a very sad day where i had to say goodbye to one of my longest standing customers Kai.
She made the grand old age of 14yrs even though she had cancer many years back.
Loveliest girl sweet, cheeky & mischievous but generally very well behaved unless she wasn't feeling it that day 😜
RIP to the Legend that was Kai forever in my heart sleep tight girl 🌈💔💔
