Why start an equine cremation service?!
Well, having run Dignity Pet Crematorium for many years I’ve been asked countless times “Where can we go to give our horse/pony/donkey the same respectful send-off as our smaller animals?”. Having been involved in a variety of trading standards cases involving fraudulent cremation of horses I couldn't recommend anyone locally and so, like my parents started Dignity Pet Crematorium to provide a more respectful service for pets, I thought I would do the same for our equine friends.
The big difference is the way we look after the horses in our care as well as the range of choices available for owners. Our service is based on ethics, compassion and respect. This means owners can have complete peace of mind in knowing how their horse will be cared for at all times. We’ve invested in a bespoke transporter meaning you can have a private goodbye once your horse is inside.
Although it is better to plan ahead and arrange for us to attend along with your vet we also offer an out of hours service for a small additional fee. Collection within 30 miles is included in our prices. We offer a wide range of Horse Caskets, Keepsakes and Memorials and can
