Been thinking today how nice all my fellow dog walking businesses are round here.

It's the little things like the way we all support each other with no competition, the waves as we drive past each other, the messages letting each other know about road closures, offering up field slots to one another, a quick chat through our van windows in passing, asking and giving advise, long voice notes that keep each other entertained when we have no one else to talk to, meeting up to walk together with our dogs, and helping out with van issues!

My apprentices have spent the last 4 weeks getting to know some of my furry customers and thier routines.
They have already started taking on thier own jobs now too and are proving to be a great asset to the team.

Exciting news!
Gems Dog Services is expanding again!!
This time into Crawley and for all small animal pop ins.
This area will be covered by a very good friend of mine Lucy who has years of experience caring for her own array of pets that include cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, tortoises, fish, guinepigs and budgies!
As well as her own she is used to looking after friends and familys pets.
She is fully insured and has a dbs check.
So if you fancy a day out, a holiday or just need to be in the office for longer than usual let us know and Lucy can be there to feed them and give them some love and attention while you're away from home.

After 3 years of running my business and realising that I'm almost at full capacity I would like to anounce and welcome,
Erika and Tailer to the "Gems Dog walking services" team.
Erika is my 17 year old daughter and Tailer my 17 year old niece.
They are joining my team as apprentices and will be shadowing me over the next month or so to gain a little more experience with some of my cats/smaller animals for pop ins and and smaller/older dogs for solo walks.
Erika did her work experience with me a couple of years ago and has met lots of my furry clients over the past 3 years growing to get to know and love them.
Tailer has 3 dogs at home and walks them regularly so comes with dog walking experience.
They are both fully insured and once we are all confident with their abilities with tip top care of customers animals, homes and keys etc they will be taking on a few jobs of thier own and working as a 2 man team...
Please feel free to send any enquiries my way if you are in need of some extra help

Cancellation policy

Although I'm pretty flexible can I please ask that if you do not require a walk that you give me at least 24 hours notice so that I can offer your space out to another dog.
(Dont worry your place won't be taken on a permanent basis)
Fail to do so will mean you will still be charged.
I tend to work over all holidays such as Easter/summer etc but you will all get good notice of any days I need to book off or if there are any changes to days/times.
So please do expect me to collect your dogs on thier usual days unless you have heard otherwise
