We were certainly kept busy today with customers. Little Willow called in for a bag of treats. She had a fuss with us and a biscuit and went a way all happy. Look at that face. Gorgeous girlie

This gorgeous pupster enjoyed his visit to the shop as he came in when our Bulmer delivery arrived. He gave it a definite paws up and is going home to persuade his family he needs some raw chicken wings for a treat 🤣🤣

Vinnie had been kitted out in a brand new harness. As his current one (in the picture) didn’t fit him very well. His new harness is much more secure. He also had some natural treats to take home. Most of our natural treats are suitable from 8 weeks of age. Please ask for help and we can advise what treats are safe for your pups.

The lovely Luna came in for her weekly top up of treats today. She picked herself some tasty healthy chewllagen treats and lamb and rice sticks. She loves her trips in to the shop.

Storm has called in for his raw food today plus he found him self a tasty chewllagen treat which is a nice healthy treat free from raw hide. What a stunning boy he is with one blue eye and one brown eye too.

Little Pepper was another furry visitor who came to the shop. We have had so many dogs to say hello to today. This is why we love our jobs. Meeting such lovely customers and their pets. Hearing about those at home too.

We are having lots of four legged visitors today. The beautiful Jessie called in to see what we sell. Such a lovely natured girlie a brilliant ambassador for a breed that sometimes gets unfair bad press.

How cute is little Maple!! Just 11 weeks old and having her first trip to the pet shop. She has left with a hairy rabbit ear to try at home. Any treat with hair on can act as a fantastic natural anti parasitic. She has had a fantastic socialising experience too. We love having your fur babies visit us for cuddles and treats.

The lovely Luna called in again today for a treat top up today. Today she picked her favourite chewllagen treats. These are collagen treats and are fantastic for joints, skin and fur. No raw hide either! Fully digestible.

Beautiful little Bailey called in for some puppy friendly treats. She’s got some yummy hairy rabbit ears to be getting on with. Isn’t she just stunning? Plenty of kisses received off her today too.

👍Hairy Rabbit ears pack such a delicious flavour and a satisfying chewing texture that your dog will absolutely love. They could be a good alternative to pig/cow ears for something smaller but they do also have the added benefit of the hair which naturally aids the removal of parasites from the intestinal tract. A good snack for between meals or as a reward, especially for those with sensitive tummies as they are hypoallergenic too!

MAGGOTS!!

Due to being asked by several people if we will be selling maggots like our sister shop at Coningsby Pet and Aquatics we have decided to introduce them in Horncastle too.

We only have a small under counter fridge which was very kindly donated to us. However, we are trying to source a larger fridge to keep upstairs. (If anyone is selling one please do get in touch)

If you require more than a couple of pints please order 2-3 days in advance and we can ensure we have them brought over for you for the day of collection.
Obviously we will only be able to have a limited amount for now so please bare with us.
Also hoping to get worms in but they are currently out of stock.

Today we met this young man. Still only a baby but so big. An unusual cross of Central Asian shepherd with a German shepherd how stunning is he!! He is called Harper and is a very good boy. He called in for some fusses and treats. Lovely natured too. 😍😍 how cute is that face?

💦❄️Keep your dogs cool by giving them a frozen toy to chew. These toys can be filled with water and put in the freezer until frozen.
