Had a brilliant day at Kennet Valley Gundog Training Society. We got 78/80 and had another run off for first place, unfortunately the win wasn’t for us today but back to boss man on Friday then another test on Saturday 🤞
Hopefully me and Hollie can get out of NDNH by the end of the season. We also had fleur out today on her second ever test plenty more to tidy up!

Had a brilliant day training at Cowdary doing a walk up yesterday with Holly and Fleur. A lovely ground for training and great company 🐶

Where the interest started of me wanting to train and own gundogs ….. nine years ago I borrowed my brothers springer fly for a day on the pigeons and fell in love with the idea of training my own. Now I’ve got three labs and a cocker and more to add in the future to join the team.

Fingers crossed we have some success in the working test this season.

Just got this sent to me think Paddy is going to be really happy at his new home living with his uncle Murphy. Murphy is Hollys brother from our first litter, we love it when people use you again for a pup and the bonus we have with these two dogs is that we are on the same syndicate so I also get to watch them work.

Had another cracking day with the girls today, can’t believe I’ve only got 1 Friday and Saturday left of the season then it’s done for another year. Then time to concentrate on getting holly back fit, sharpen up a few bits with fleur and the two pups to train = busy summer 👍

First vaccinations and microchip visit to the vets today completed.

The pups had a good play outside today and the last few days now we have some dry weather!

Fleur 🖤

Fleur has really enjoyed being part of the shoot this year, she has loved being in lead position whilst Holly is at home with her pups. 2 more weeks left of the season.

Fleur is one of the pups from Hollys previous litter. Sire: FtCh Tagabea Loganberry. We used the same sire again with the litter Holly currently has at home.

The pups have graduated to soaked puppy kibble now!

We have some news to share…….

Hollie has had a lovely little litter of 5 pups. All pups are feeding well and gaining weight well. Hollie has been a brilliant mum again, we will keep our page updated with their progress.

Lovely parents, we personally have one from this litter and she’s a honestly a brilliant well tempered little dog, settled in the first night and no whimpers or sleepless nights.

A last minute entry from us and we came away with fourth. I was happy with how Hollie ran today but my fault for over handling in the first test, we got 73/80! Well done to everyone who competed today, what a lovely club everyone was helpful and welcoming!

2 weeks until the next to test so hopefully third time lucky with that getting first place and moving groups!
