I received this lovely email from a breeder who used Guardadamas to cover her mare... she is a lovely product of the pairing
"I thought that you might like to see one of Gardadamas’ foals, now rising 5 years.
She is quite magnificent; really impresses people who see her. She is Kinlet Queens Guard, by Gardadamas out of La Reine Des Eaux. Mum was covered at Twemlows 6 years ago.
At present she is on a showjumper’s yard and impressed the professional with her ability. She has recently started to get dressage lessons and the teacher reckons that she is the most talented young horse she has seen this year.
The photo was taken at a fun ride in Gloucestershire on Saturday 9th April. The rider is my daughter, so they really are a pair of home breds! I am in favour of barefoot horses, so it’s ironic that they are going through a horse shoe!"
