I’m Megan, and I’m excited to share my love for dogs with you! At The Pawfect Day, I’ve created a cozy home where your dog can have the time of their lives!

💕 Daycare - Your dog will feel right at home in our small groups, receiving personalised care. They can relax on the sofa, go for lovely walks, play in the garden, or even take a swim in our pool! We are accepting a small number of new daycare dogs starting in December, so contact us for more information!

🏠 Boarding - For dogs already in daycare, I offer comfortable boarding in my home, so they can stay with us when you’re away.

🍁Secure Dog Park - Our private dog park is available for hourly hire for just £10, featuring fun activities like a sandpit, climbing ramp, and jumps. It’s a secure and remote space where your dog can play freely and safely.

💦 Dog Swimming Pool - Want a fun way to keep your dog active? Our indoor swimming pool is available for private use, making it the ideal spot for a splash! Not only does swimming offer lots of health benefits, but it’s also so much fun to watch your dog enjoy themselves in the water. Prices start from just £28 per booking.

I’m supported by a wonderful team, including Lauren, Alfie and a new staff member Pippa will be starting in December. We’re all committed to providing the best care for your pets.

Hello everyone!

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Christmas charity photoshoot in partnership with the amazing Lifeandlandscapephotography! This special event aims to raise funds for Arundawn Dog Rescue, an organisation close to my heart, as I have had the pleasure of fostering their wonderful dogs.

This year, you’ve met some incredible dogs like Jim, Winnie, Darla, Moose, and soon, you will get to know Rose! Thanks to Arundawn, all them have found loving homes, and I have no doubt that Rose will too.

We invite you to participate in our exclusive photoshoot for your dogs! The talented Sara recently took some stunning photos here, and your photo will be similar to this with a Christmas twist! Your dog will need to attend daycare on December 3rd, 4th, or 5th. We still have a few spots available if you aren’t booked in yet.

Each photo (Digital File) will be available for just £15, with all proceeds going directly to Arundawn to support their vital work covering veterinary bills, dog food, and caring for the dogs in their shelter.

Hi everyone! 🎄

As we approach December, please could you send me your daycare/boarding needs for the month. If you won’t be needing your regular weekly slot or if you have any extra dates in mind, please let me know. I want to accommodate as many requests as possible since I know how busy the holiday season can get! ❄️

Please note that I will be closing on December 24th, 25th, 26th, and 31st, unless your dog is booked for a holiday stay. 🏡

POOL UPDATE: ❄️ Winter Rates ❄️

Hello everyone,

We wanted to share an update regarding our Dog Swimming Pool. As many of you know, this is a new venture for us, and we are continually learning.

Unfortunately, we’ve faced some challenges with our pool heater, which has been struggling to maintain our desired temperature of 26-28°C. Currently, the pool is around 20°C, and we understand that while the dogs dont mind, you might! especially with the outside temperatures dropping ❄️

We’re actively working on solutions to raise the temperature, but please bear with us as this may take some time.

To reflect these changes, we are now offering a 20% discount on all bookings, which will remain in effect throughout the winter season 🐾

Please keep in mind that while the pool is indoors, it is housed in a barn, so the environment may be a bit cooler than you’re used to.

How gorgeous is this puppy? I welcomed five new members at the start of November, and she’s one of them! They’ve all completed their first days, and I’ve loved having new dogs join the ones I’ve been caring for over the years.

I’ll be taking on a couple more in December, so if you’re interested in daycare for your dog, please get in touch to join my waitlist! 🐾

MEET ALFIE! 🐾

Id like to introduce you to Alfie! Over the past few months, you may have seen him in my videos and pictures, or perhaps you’ve noticed him while dropping off your dogs. Alfie is currently doing work experience here!

If you spot him around The Pawfect Day, don’t hesitate to say hi and give him a warm welcome! 👋

‘Hey everyone!

I’m Alfie, I’m 15 and currently in school. I’m really passionate about animals and plan to do an apprenticeship in animal care once I finish school.

This summer, I have been volunteering at The Pawfect Day, and now that I’m back in school, I help out on the weekends.

I have a Labrador named Bracken, and she’s the best! I love taking her swimming in The Pawfect Pool. My sister also has a Frenchie named Merlin, who I’m sure many of you know as a regular at daycare.

I love helping look after your dogs and I’m looking forward to meeting all of them!

Jim Update!

JIM UPDATE! 🫶🏻 Jim has been settling into his forever home for two weeks now and he is absolutely adored by his new family! He has a Doberman brother and two wonderful human siblings to keep him company. He goes to work with his mum everyday and spends his time around people, horses and dogs! Thank you all for your love and support during Jim’s journey. It means so much to know that you care about his happiness as much as I do! Now let’s find Winnie her perfect home. Megan xx
