It’s been a busy start to 2025! Now it’s time some winter sun in Thailand🇹🇭☀️
I will get back to all messages when I return to work on Tuesday 4th February. I am fully booked until mid March so please book ahead to avoid disappointment! Please remember that I am currently splitting my time between my Rusper & Southwater salons.

January is fully booked! I will be on holiday between 22nd January-3rd February, starting the year strong with some winter sun in Thailand 🇹🇭🏝️✌🏻

As some of you may know, my goal has always been to have my very own grooming set up at home. I’ve worked so hard this past year to make this happen and am pleased to announce that from January 2025, I will be starting to work from my brand new home set up in Southwater!🙌🏻

To begin with, I will be dividing my time between my salon in Rusper and my new set up at home. I plan to move my business to home full time at some point in the future. Generally speaking, I will be in Rusper 2 days a week and at home for the rest.

To avoid any confusion, please assume your dogs groom is in Rusper unless we have discussed otherwise. When rebooking for next year, please let me know your preferred location so I can send dates accordingly.

Thank you to all my clients for the continued support and loyalty over the years, I wouldn’t have been able to do this without you!

I look forward to welcoming you to my new salon 🛁💙

Millie had a busy afternoon playing at @dailydogdigs followed by a pamper with me! I think it’s safe to say she’s a little bit tired 😴💙

Another happy puppy enjoying a yummy treat at the end of his puppy grooming session 🥰🐶🦴

Today I ended Ripley’s puppy groom with an enrichment activity to reward him for being such a good boy during his session. This also helps the puppies to realise that grooming is a positive experience and the salon is a fun place to be! I put some small treats in a towel and scrunched it up so Ripley had to sniff out the treats, he loved it 🥰 (Ripley’s a Shih Tzu but looks much like a Guinea Pig in this video🤣)

Beastie isn’t the biggest fan of being groomed. It’s taken a long time to gain his trust but we’re getting there! Usually if I tried to stroke or pet him, he would growl or try to bite me. Today was different! He was such a happy boy throughout and after his haircut. It’s so rewarding seeing a dogs behaviour change so much over time and become a positive experience for them 🥰

I spent some time playing with Luna after her puppy groom today and she loved it! This is a great way for puppies to recognise that the grooming salon is a fun place to be and that the grooming process is rewarding! The sounds and smells of a new place can be quite scary for a puppy, so it’s a good idea to bring them in from a young age to get them used to it. Puppies can be groomed a week after their second set of vaccinations. If you‘d like more information on puppy grooming, please send me a message and I’ll be happy to help! Megan🐾

It’s tiring work being blow dried 😴🥰🐾

🛁 Short haired dogs need grooming too! 🛁 Grooming short haired dogs helps to remove the dead undercoat and to keep their skin in good condition... it will also reduce the amount of shed hair that accumulates in your home, on your furniture and on your clothes! Many pets shed continuously throughout the year, while others may “blow” their coat seasonally. Your dog may still have a few loose hairs falling out a few days after the treatment. After that, shedding will be greatly reduced if not, eliminated. A deshed groom consists of a bath, blow dry - with a high velocity dryer, which blows a lot of the dead coat out, then a brush out using de-shedding tools such as a zoom groom (featured in video) or a furminator. They will also receive a nail clip, ear clean and wrinkle clean if required. Prices start from £20. This is Marley the Pug having his deshed today. Such a good boy and loves his monthly pamper 🥰🛁🐶
