Made specifically to encourage dogs to sniff and forage. Foraging is a natural behaviour and is great for a dog to be able to exhibit.
How to use them:
Scatter your dog's dry food or treats over the mat and encourage them to forage. You can do this with their dinner or some treats as extra enrichment.

I speak to a lot of clients who say they don't clip their dogs' nails as they are too scared and afraid of hurting them to do it. I totally understand as none of us want to hurt our dogs and nail clipping seems really tricky but it is so important to do. Long nails interfere with paw placement and can impact how our dogs move.

Day 3 - Puppy Progress
There are often times when it feels like all of your previous training has disappeared into thin air, it's the whole 2 steps forward, 3 steps back feeling, I know too well how frustrating this can be. This is why it's so important to gain the knowledge and tools to help you understand what your dog is going through.
As your puppy grows older, like us, their behaviour and response can change, especially when charged with hormones. I will teach you how to read the signs and use practical techniques to improve behaviour and hopefully get you back on track.

- Calm behaviour & settle
- Learning not to jump up

Following on from my pre-puppy programme, I offer a 121 programme specific to new puppy owners. This 4 week course is designed to create a strong bond between you and your new puppy from the offset. It implements reward-based behaviours, learning through play and building confidence.

- Handling for vets & grooming
- Recall basics
- Calmness & settling

My Pre-Puppy sessions are designed to give you the best possible start and give you the opportunity to find out which dog is likely to be the best fit for you and your circumstances.

Do you have a dog who is ball obsessed? 🎾⚽️
Ball chasing can be lots of fun for our dogs but it’s important for us to be mindful about the impact of constant ball chasing on our dogs body and also their arousal levels, for instance if they struggle to settle down afterwards.
This lovely boy is 11 now and is showing early signs of arthritis but he LOVES a tennis ball. So we’ve changed it up and have given him a new low impact game to play which is to play hide and seek with his ball. As you can see from his tail, he is having a great time! This game is great for a few reasons:
1. It’s low impact so less stress on the dogs joints
2. It gets them using their nose which is great for calming and mental enrichment

In this video, you can see me training Luna through so weave poles as a little exercise to help with heelwork.
I would usually say her top motivator is FOOD but in this instance, she had fallen in love with this duck toy and would much rather work for that than the food.
In the video you can see her lose interest in the food but when I change the motivator to her favourite toy, I get her focus back and she is much more engaged.
Tip: when asking our dogs to do something, check what their real motivation is and use this as their reward!

🌸 Snuffle mats 🌸
I had a go recently at making my own homemade snuffle mat and am very happy with the final product 🙂 I actually really enjoyed making it too!
Snuffle mats are great for:
✅ Provide mental stimulation to tackle boredom
✅ Slows down eating
✅ Gives their nose a good workout!
If I were to make more, would anyone be interesting in buying one? I am looking to make different size ones to cater for all breeds!
