Casey Jones and Cowboy Joe. I know a lot of you love Maine coons so I thought you would like to see two of our current guests! Cowboy Joe is the tabby and Casey Jones is the black smoke Maine coon. They first came when they were kittens and I haven’t been able to take them again until now. I was so excited for their arrival. As I write this Cowboy Joe is licking my feet, his favourite past time 😂 Casey Jones is much better at being brushed and has the most gorgeous fur whereas Cowboy Joe is not such a fan! They both love to play, are so loving and are stunning! 😻😻❤️

Two of my New Year cats are leaving this morning, Milo ( black and white) the most adorable loving funny cat who I have had so much love and fun from and Pixel (grey and white) came last year at the same time for the first time as a little kitten and although he has grown a lot, he is still quite small.

He had been in a cattery earlier in the year when I had no space and as often is the case after not the nicest of environments, he was quite wary of me and did big long hisses! I’m surprised he could keep them going so long!

Patience pays and after he rolled on the floor for me on his second day ( stroking was allowed once!) I knew he’d be ok. He became, as he is now, the happiest little soul. He again is so full of love and mischief and playfulness. I’m going to miss them both 😻😻❤️

Finally!!!! The best Christmas present I could have received, never mind Harry! After a year of being left behind Harry has found his forever home!!!

If you follow the cat hotel you will know I’ve been trying my best to help to find the home he so deserves after he was rescued from a life on the streets by my neighbour, Clare.
It was later found out he has FIV and although cats can live long and healthy lives with it, no-one would rehome him🥲
Until now!!!!!!
Thank you, a million times thank you, to the couple who have adopted him ❤️😻

To enter you must -
1. Post a photograph of your cat or cats. Each cat counts as one entry.

3. Tag a friend with a cat

The 1st prize is a three night stay in the Cat Hotel 🏩💕( this can be deducted from the cost of a holiday already booked)

The 2nd prize is a voucher for a cat cafe of your choice 😻🍰🧁🥮☕️🥤

The 3rd prize is a stocking full of goodies for your cat or cats 🎁

This is a bit of a different post, but I thought I should pop it up here as it will hopefully reassure owners who bring their cats to the cat hotel as to what happens if I notice anything about their furbabies that I’m concerned about.

This is the beautiful Indie, short for Indigo and she stayed with us in November.
I spotted some blood in her urine. I checked the cameras I have in every suite and she had been on the litter tray 20 times during the night. Obviously, she needed to see the vet.

So I rang her lovely owners in Disneyland Paris, as agreed, if anything was wrong. And between us all, including my assistant, we arranged for Indie to be seen that day at the hotels vets, SimplyCats .
It required an email from Indie’s usual vet to SimplyCats with her medical history and I also registered her with them.
She saw the lovely vet Michelle who diagnosed a bad case of inflammation, confirmed by a urine sample we managed to obtain. She was given some Metacam which is excellent stuff.
She had suffered a few times with it over the few months before her visit and is now receiving ongoing treatment for inflammation of the bladder.

As you can see the trip to the vets, a few minutes from the hotel didn’t faze her at all! And she was soon back up in her favourite place when she returned. I gave her a little gabapentin before her trip just to keep her nice and calm.

So please know that I will always take the greatest care of your furbabies. They are watched like hawks! I love each of them like my own and will always do my best for them , as will my assistant ❤️

Can you spot Ozzy the Ragdoll, Oakley the Bengal , Callie the Calico, Lola white & black and Luther (1st time guests who did amazingly 🥰) beautiful Indie, adorable Graye and Penny, Lunacorn the Ragdoll who has her own unicorn plate at the cat hotel, and last but never least, Snowball our one, off licence cat, who has a boudoir in our bedroom 🥰❤️

**Update - Princess has been reunited with her twin sister and is home 🏡😊

Someone kindly came out and scanned her and she had a microchip. She is from Hartlepool. A very long way from Easington Lane! ❤️

Lost cat in Easington Lane -

This beautiful cat is living in a shelter in the garden of a man who has just been on the phone to me.
She is clearly not a stray as she is very friendly and in such great condition. I think she’s probably at house cat that has escaped.

He has been feeding her for around about five weeks but isn’t on Facebook so hasn’t had this resource to hopefully help find her owner. The bigger charities have not been a lot of help so he has reached out to me.

I have rung a scan angel, but I haven’t had a reply, so in the meantime, I thought I would post her photograph and hope it can be shared and somebody recognises her/him - she’s clearly very distinctive.

Please share widely.
If you know someone who could scan her for a chip that would be great.
🙏🙏 We can get her back to her owner ❤️

It’s been so long since I posted! I’ve been trying to reduce the number of messages and calls I get after I put photographs of my beautiful guests up! It’s so hard when you keep having to say, sorry I’m full 🙈
However…I have to make an exception for the beautiful Ragdolls Blue and Tabitha, two of my older guests.

They are all snuggly in the Cosy Suite. We’ve rearranged the room as Blue is very frail and needs to be able to access everything as easily as possible.
It’s so hard to watch a cat at the end stage of her life but also the greatest honour and privilege.
We are just taking one day a time with her, but oh my goodness they are both the most loveable, sweet, older ladies 😻😻❤️🥰

I haven’t been posting here for some months due to having to concentrate on my hotel guests and sorting out all of the bookings for 2025 …however I have tried so hard for this boy to find a home and I will keep on trying. So I’m breaking my rule!

Harry is, I know personally, the loveliest boy. He’s been returned three times ( I know the reasons) and not once was it due to a single thing he’d done. It’s so not fair on him. Someone somewhere must have a place he can finally call his forever home😢😢

How do we tell Harry that no one has applied for him, that no one wants him. 💔
It's been almost a year for Harry, 1 whole year of not being good enough for anyone. He's been returned to us 3 times, and never because of who is he is as a cat, but due to other people's circumstances.
We have nothing more we can say to convince you all or anyone who reads this how wonderful this boy is, he is the most loving, cuddly, funny, playful little boy😭. It breaks our hearts every day to see no one apply or even ask about him. He's had one person visit him in the last 7 months and they said no, even when the visit went SO well. All because he is FiV+. Please do your research, vets have very outdated views on FiV+ cats. It's not a death sentence, Harry just needs a little more help as he gets older as his immune system isn't as it should be, this isn't his fault, but a humans fault for allowing him 5 years outdoors unneutered and unloved being beat and fighting to defend himself when he had no one else to protect him 💔
If you do anything, please share him, please visit him, please ask. He is amazing. He has so much love to give to someone, but no one wants to give him a chance 💔
