**Update - Princess has been reunited with her twin sister and is home 🏡😊

Someone kindly came out and scanned her and she had a microchip. She is from Hartlepool. A very long way from Easington Lane! ❤️

Lost cat in Easington Lane -

This beautiful cat is living in a shelter in the garden of a man who has just been on the phone to me.
She is clearly not a stray as she is very friendly and in such great condition. I think she’s probably at house cat that has escaped.

He has been feeding her for around about five weeks but isn’t on Facebook so hasn’t had this resource to hopefully help find her owner. The bigger charities have not been a lot of help so he has reached out to me.

I have rung a scan angel, but I haven’t had a reply, so in the meantime, I thought I would post her photograph and hope it can be shared and somebody recognises her/him - she’s clearly very distinctive.

Please share widely.
If you know someone who could scan her for a chip that would be great.

My beautiful guests this week (Lord Maximus the tabby, Muezza and Ragna the Bengals and April, who is ginger and white ) are here to tell you I have had two cancellations due to an event being moved to next year and a holiday being cancelled.

It’s been so long since I posted! I’ve been trying to reduce the number of messages and calls I get after I put photographs of my beautiful guests up! It’s so hard when you keep having to say, sorry I’m full 🙈
However…I have to make an exception for the beautiful Ragdolls Blue and Tabitha, two of my older guests.

They are all snuggly in the Cosy Suite. We’ve rearranged the room as Blue is very frail and needs to be able to access everything as easily as possible.
It’s so hard to watch a cat at the end stage of her life but also the greatest honour and privilege.
We are just taking one day a time with her, but oh my goodness they are both the most loveable, sweet, older ladies 😻😻❤️🥰

I haven’t been posting here for some months due to having to concentrate on my hotel guests and sorting out all of the bookings for 2025 …however I have tried so hard for this boy to find a home and I will keep on trying. So I’m breaking my rule!

Harry is, I know personally, the loveliest boy. He’s been returned three times ( I know the reasons) and not once was it due to a single thing he’d done. It’s so not fair on him. Someone somewhere must have a place he can finally call his forever home😢😢

How do we tell Harry that no one has applied for him, that no one wants him. 💔
It's been almost a year for Harry, 1 whole year of not being good enough for anyone. He's been returned to us 3 times, and never because of who is he is as a cat, but due to other people's circumstances.
We have nothing more we can say to convince you all or anyone who reads this how wonderful this boy is, he is the most loving, cuddly, funny, playful little boy😭. It breaks our hearts every day to see no one apply or even ask about him. He's had one person visit him in the last 7 months and they said no, even when the visit went SO well. All because he is FiV+. Please do your research, vets have very outdated views on FiV+ cats. It's not a death sentence, Harry just needs a little more help as he gets older as his immune system isn't as it should be, this isn't his fault, but a humans fault for allowing him 5 years outdoors unneutered and unloved being beat and fighting to defend himself when he had no one else to protect him 💔
If you do anything, please share him, please visit him, please ask. He is amazing. He has so much love to give to someone, but no one wants to give him a chance 💔

On International Cat Day do post a picture of your furry family to say hi!

It doesn’t matter if they haven’t been a visitor to the cat hotel ( although I always love a catch up!) - just share a photograph because they are your fur babies, you love them and you know life is so much better with a cat! 😻❤️

Harry still needs a home. He’s been in foster care for 266 days 😢
Please don’t be put off by him having FIV, apart from a managed skin condition he is perfectly healthy and there’s no reason why he can’t live a long and healthy life.
Please read the comments in the post. He is the sweetest, loving boy and we have to find him a forever home 🙏 Please share widely if you can’t have another cat yourself 🥲❤️

This is Rosie ( 18 months old ) who is staying at the Cat Hotel ATM. She arrived on Thursday. Rosie has never been left before. Apparently, she’s shy and a loner with strangers… as often happens, cats make their owners look as if they’ve just made it up, as you can see from the photographs 😂 ❤️

We are having a lovely time playing with all of her toys and she is obsessed especially with my butterfly toy.
I’ve seen more of her tummy than any other part of her! She loves nothing more than rolling around having a fuss. Now I just want her Mam to have as happy a holiday as Rosie is having ❤️😻

We’ve had so many amazing guests over the last few months I don’t know where to start..or didn’t. Then I remembered a lovely owner saying to me she couldn’t wait to see the photographs of her furry family on here. So for Val and David I introduce you to their very special and utterly adorable furry family.

I’d like to give a special mention to their three legged cat Ziggy, whom I sadly never got the chance to care for, but who from the stories I’ve been told, was one in a million. These people love cats like I do and to see how much they not only love the three you are about to meet, but their love for Ziggy. It is truly unconditional and the best kind of love of all ❤️

Rio, the dark seal point Ragdoll , and Oliver the blue point Ragdoll are back on holiday with us. They have a two week stay no the Playroom. They are so loving and love human company and very playful. I’ve made them an extra big tunnel system for them 😻😻❤️

Urgent post -
I’m back after a break from my business page. I’ve missed sharing photographs and stories from all of the guests who have stayed. I will try and post some for you to awwwww at 💕

However this post is an urgent request to anyone who has a spare room for a short stay for four cats who were in a massive house fire yesterday.
Sadly one of their cats died 😢If you can help please do. It couldn’t be a worse time for it to happen as all of the cat hotels and catteries are full. They are currently being kept in a bathroom 😞
If you can’t help please will you share this post as widely as possible 🙏💕

“To try let everyone know since it’s complete chaos - we’ve had a massive house fire .
Jayden and Lucas were in the house at the time. Jayden is now in Sunderland royal due to high levels of carbon monoxide .
One of our cats has died in the fire, I have 4 I desperately need a room for them to stay temporarily if anyone can help .
Our downstairs and stairs are completely destroyed .
Upstairs is smoke damaged “

Since 10th June 2024 cats over 20 weeks old must be microchipped and registered on a compliant database. This includes cats that usually only stay indoors.
You will be fined if you do not do this, so please share widely.

Harry still hasn’t got a home. I’m devastated for him. Please, please if you can, give this gentle, loving, so grateful to be rescued from a life on the streets cat~ a forever home. The charity found him somewhere only for the person to give him back two days later as she wasn’t over the loss of her last cat and kept crying…he hadn’t done a thing wrong. He’s just so lovely.
I want to take him so much but I can’t because I have the cat hotel and my two cats (plus Snowball a lot).

I just thought I’d do an update to explain as to why I’m quiet.
I’ve got/had a lung infection on and off for some time now ( there seems to be a lot about ) and because (gratefully) a post can create lots of phone calls and I really need to rest my voice. I have at times sounded like Barry White or Frank Bruno. I think new owners may have been rather surprised and thought I’d changed s*x when I answered the phone with “Katie speaking, how can I help?” I really need to rest my voice 🙈
Also I feel like I’m turning into a parrot, repeating myself and we already have our parrot Fern 🦜❤️😂

I’ll write what I say here and hope it helps ❤️
I’m fully booked (other than a space or two in November and December (not Christmas or New Year) until 2025.

I will post here if I do get a cancellation so keep your eyes 👀peeled.

I’m going to answer calls and emails Mon ~ Fri 9am - 5pm
I was taking calls at 8pm and 11pm on consecutive nights last week and am often doing emails very late at night.
I realise I must have some time to switch off from the admin side of the hotel and (also keep my husband sweet as he’s so tolerant already, bless him 🥰)

Now I can’t go without posting a few photographs of Lunacorn in the deluxe suite, she just left at the weekend after around 18 days and is such a big miss, she is a huge character 😊🥰❤️
