To all my amazing customers.

As most of you know I’ve had a major operation this week which has gone well and I’m hopefully on the road to recovery.

Due to a few complications I may be off longer than my planned 3 weeks. At the moment I think it’s sensible to keep the diary open but as you can understand I may need a little extra recovery time.

If I need an extra week or two off I will reschedule and contact everyone that is booked in.

🐾 The Mutt Club • Doggy Playgroup 🐾

This Sunday 9.15am

Come join us at our next playgroup and join the most exclusive canine club in Notts!

What is Mutt Club❓
A doggy playgroup for all sizes and breeds to meet in a safe and secure area for socialising and energy release.

Who can attend ❓
As long as your dog is friendly and has no aggression or guarding issues over toys/balls you are welcome to bring them.
Unfortunately we are not insured for banned breeds.

•You must prebook your dogs place as we’re limited on numbers and sell out at every club.

• Drop the page a message or WhatsApp to receive your unique payment link. £5 per dog.

• Keep an eye on the events tab for news and parking instructions closer to the time. If it’s dry (gods we hope it’s dry in JUNE!) we will be able to park in the field.

• Balls and a limited amount of ball launches are available to play with and must be returned on exit.

• Owners are responsible for their own dog - Please pick up your p**p. If your dog becomes stressed please remove them from the situation and take them to a quiet area of the field. If you’re struggling, find a Club host who will be able to help.

• Let your dogs have the best hour of their week exploring, sniffing, making new friends and having zoomies 🐾

‼️⚠️ XL BULLY BAN ⚠️‼️

To answer a few questions….Yes, if you already own an XL Bully, the dog will be classed as a banned breed, and you will have to go through the exemption process to be able to keep your dog under Defra’s exemption rules.

We do not know yet, how they will define XL’s, we can assume it will be similar to how they define Pitbull Type…Measurements and Characteristics.

Our advice, at this time, if you suspect your dog is an XL, get them neutered ASAP, to have your dog exempted, it must be neutered. If it’s not neutered and it’s seized, you will NOT get your dog back until it has been neutered. Better having them neutered now by your own vet than the police approved kennels getting them done. Also, if your dog is already neutered, you may be able to stop your dog going into kennels, there’s the IES (Interim Exemption Scheme) that a few forces use, where you can keep your dog at home, under conditions, until the court date for exemption.

Muzzle train your dog now!! This will prove you’re a responsible owner, and, also prepare your dog for having to keep them muzzled, at all times, in public, this includes in your car etc.

If the police come for your dog..DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING!! They may try to blag you into signing…Oh sign this to say you understand why we are taking your dog. Don’t!! You’ll be signing for them to put your dog to sleep.

We appreciate that this news is frightening for owners 😢 And, many will be angry!! Keep calm at all times with the authorities, they will be judging you and your behaviour as well as your dog!!

Revel 💙 can you believe this puppy looking cutie is actually 15!! His mum washes him and home now and stays while I groom him because he's blind and deaf so we just get him cut as best and as quick as we can, but he's so chilled and just lays there. 🐾

Bella smashed her 2nd puppy groom. She's definitely ready for her big girl groom in Jan 🥰 it's so important to get your pups used to being groomed. There's lots you can do to help them at home too like, touch their feet and face. Regular brushes and the most important thing you can do is to teach them to wait 🙌
