We're back at Pawsby - the dog show at Thoresby Hall - again this July and it's going to be bigger and better. We'll be doing the displays again, obedience, Scentwork, Working Trials as well as organising various other dog related activities. So if you want to join us in any capacity, display team, judging, general help then please get in touch.

Do you have a new Puppy? This is an excellent course to build a bond and give your Puppy a great start to their training.

Puppy Starter courses are an introduction to learn safer skills to build up your puppies body awareness, flexibility, muscle conditioning and proprioception through play exercise techniques, this is the foundation to a successful well rounded puppy, who is fit, focussed and flexible. You will learn how the stages of growth engage, when to increase and decrease exercise and what you can do to help the development of your puppy both mentally and physically.
The first element of the puppy course is 4 weeks in duration it is designed to be delivered around the growth plates developing in your puppy taking them into adulthood. The course is a rolling programme that helps you and your puppy share special, meaningful time together, and if you do develop a passion for a sport I can add specific elements to safeguard your future training within your chosen sport to maintain their ability to excel physically.

Canine fitness should be an integral part of any responsible dog ownership, the training builds amazing bonds and you will also learn injury prevention exercises too, your knowledge of the canine anatomy will boost your understanding of what their needs are as they develop from your fur babies into fabulous adult dogs. It doesn't matter if your pup is going to stay a beloved forever pet or going on with a view to perform in any sport. Getting the foundation right at the start will produce a stronger, more switched on dog for all of life's experiences.

The courses are delivered online via an hour's zoom call weekly you will be in a small group, so you will be able to see others and gain a supportive team who are on the same journey as you, all learning more about their puppys development. I set up a WhatsApp for you all where the ongoing notes will be added along with demonstration videos to help you learn the techniques. I will also be part of that group to offer ongoing support throughout the weeks of the training.

Your dogs will love you for giving them the best start in life from as soon as they come home. The structured lessons will also aid your puppies sleeping and rest patterns, this will help you direct training most effectively.
