So glad the snow has gone and it's warmed up a bit. Stanley and Skye enjoyed fun and sniffs in the woods. Stan missed his pal Rosie.

Rosie is currently in heat and will not be joining any group walks this week. On lead walks only.

As I head into year three with Rosies Ramblers, I thought it was time for a fresh new look!!
Big thank you to my lovely friend Dan for redesigning the logo for me and creating some social media assets. I really do love it.

I feel so lucky to have made it this far, and I have learnt so much. I adore every single one of our dogs.
I am also grateful to the community of dog walkers that exist in Huddersfield. Some who have become very good friends and whose advice over the years has been invaluable. It's really lovely when you love your job. ☺️

So Kaya and I are slowly getting there. Being a rescue, she needs a lot of patience. Trying to get a lead on her has taken a while, but today, we had a breakthrough.
We did a lovely frosty 30 mins up at the res this morning.

🍂 New Rambler 🍂

Kaya is a young mixed breed that was rescued from the streets of Romania when she was 6 months old and now lives here, in Golcar with her mum. Very well trained and very smart. 😁

The process of gaining her trust starts now before she meets the rest of the gang.
I will need to take my time.
I cant wait to get to know her. 💜🩷

🎄 Christmas Pawty at Dragonfly Dog 🌲

On Friday 20th December we will be having a Christmas pawty at Dragonfly Dog in Slaithwaite to celebrate the festive season and as a way to say thank you to all our lovely clients and dogs.

We also have an additional session booked for Thursday 19th December for any dogs who can't attend on the Friday.

For £18 per dog they will be picked up, receive a fun filled session with their friends at a dog indoor play centre, a pawty hat and christmas present and will be dropped off tired and content.

🎄🎄Spaces are limited. Available to Rosies Ramblers dogs only.🎄🎄

Our solo and home visit dogs will have an individual doggy bag delivered to their home courtesy of Santa Paws.

Please if buying your dogs anything this Christmas, don't buy them these poisonous rawhide treats!!! ✋️

Rawhide is not good for dogs.
It has no nutritional value, full of toxins and can be deadly due to causing blockages in the gastrointestinal tract, not to mention teeth breakages and a choking hazard.

This was in Home Bargains earlier today and there is shelves of the rubbish, along with Pedigree Dentastix which is also something I would never give my dog.

If you do your homework you will find there are far healthier alternatives out there and your dog will live longer. 🌲🌲

The gang is back together 🐾👻

Nala our Staffy is back after being on her holidays.
Nala our Labrador is growing in confidence and absolutely loves playing with other dogs.
It's getting confusing all these Nalas as we bumped into two more out and about.

🐾 T R A I N I N G 🐾

We will be closed on Monday 2nd December as I will be on a training course for my level 3 in Canine first aid.

The safety and well being of the dogs in my care is my number one priority, so it's important to keep my canine first aid and CPR skills fresh for in the event of any emergencies or injuries.

The course is also compliant with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Recover Guidelines 2012.

This is an all day course so I will not be available for walks or home visits on this day.
