🎄 Christmas Pawty at Dragonfly Dog 🌲

On Friday 20th December we will be having a Christmas pawty at Dragonfly Dog in Slaithwaite to celebrate the festive season and as a way to say thank you to all our lovely clients and dogs.

We also have an additional session booked for Thursday 19th December for any dogs who can't attend on the Friday.

For £18 per dog they will be picked up, receive a fun filled session with their friends at a dog indoor play centre, a pawty hat and christmas present and will be dropped off tired and content.

🎄🎄Spaces are limited. Available to Rosies Ramblers dogs only.🎄🎄

Our solo and home visit dogs will have an individual doggy bag delivered to their home courtesy of Santa Paws.

Please if buying your dogs anything this Christmas, don't buy them these poisonous rawhide treats!!! ✋️

Rawhide is not good for dogs.
It has no nutritional value, full of toxins and can be deadly due to causing blockages in the gastrointestinal tract, not to mention teeth breakages and a choking hazard.

This was in Home Bargains earlier today and there is shelves of the rubbish, along with Pedigree Dentastix which is also something I would never give my dog.

If you do your homework you will find there are far healthier alternatives out there and your dog will live longer. 🌲🌲

The gang is back together 🐾👻

Nala our Staffy is back after being on her holidays.
Nala our Labrador is growing in confidence and absolutely loves playing with other dogs.
It's getting confusing all these Nalas as we bumped into two more out and about.

🐾 T R A I N I N G 🐾

We will be closed on Monday 2nd December as I will be on a training course for my level 3 in Canine first aid.

The safety and well being of the dogs in my care is my number one priority, so it's important to keep my canine first aid and CPR skills fresh for in the event of any emergencies or injuries.

The course is also compliant with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Recover Guidelines 2012.

This is an all day course so I will not be available for walks or home visits on this day.

The little lady had her first group walk today with Bailey, Maisie and the boss.
Despite the bears size, she wasn't fazed in the slightest and they all had a good time running, sniffing and playing.

Nalas First Group Walk 🐾

Young Nala made lots of new friends yesterday as I introduced her to some of her new pack.
She loved every second playing and running around.
Her recall was excellent and she was allowed to run free on a long line. I practised her training along with her owners and we got a great result.

If you have a puppy you want to join us, why not enquire about our pup packages.

They include playtime at home, a walk and feed. Then after a few weeks if suitable they can join our group walks with our fabulous dogs. These packages can be tailor made to your requirements.

I have now have my vehicle back and normal service has resumed.🐾

I have a fun packed day ahead with a new face joining us later today. Can't wait to introduce him. He's a gorgeous boy. 😍

Stanley is back after a brief hiatus. I am so glad to have him back. We missed each other.

I managed to still walk some of our more local dogs yesterday despite having no wheels.

We are still here 🐾

Rosie and I returned today after a couple of days off while I nursed a foot injury.
Please bear with me this week as I am a little bit slower on the feet.

All bookings are continuing as normal but the timings may differ slightly. I will keep clients fully up to date at all times.

Also please be aware I am closed on Monday next week as my car is going into the garage for some repairs and a service ready for Winter.

Nala 🐾

This little superstar is doing so well. 😍
Nala started with us just before I went on holiday. I've come back and not only has she doubled in size very quickly but her manners and recall are superb for such a young Labrador.
The parents have clearly invested time in her training. Love it!!! ❤️
Found a lovely little bond with Rosie too.
Couldn't be happier with her progress.
She will be heading to the group walks soon.😁

Fresh from holidays and we have some new faces.
Stanley is a 13 week old male White Retriever and he's melted my heart already.
Spent some of today getting to know each other and I can see we are going to have lots and lots of fun.

Home time 🦁

I am on my way back after exploring Southern Africa for the last two weeks.
What an adventure it's been!

The Friday gang is back!!! 🐾 Benji is back after a little break and Frankie and Floss were so pleased to see him. So off went to Marsden Mutts for the 2nd time this week. We had Rocco earlier who despite being a puppy, has grown into a big strong gentle lad.
