Still here… just buried under a pile of muddy paws and tennis balls!
Sorry for the quiet spell—turns out when you’re busy adventuring with the Ultimutt crew, social media sometimes gets left holding the (poo) bag. Taking a little time to recharge and claw some hours back in the week, but we’re still out and about every day, tails wagging and treats flowing. Grateful as ever to be spending my days with the best crew around! 🐶🥰

Welcome to the World, Little Ones! 🐶💖

Huge congratulations to the lovely Tilly on the safe arrival of her six beautiful pups, now a whole week old! 🥰 I’ve managed to sneak in a few visits (of course!) and it’s been such a joy seeing Tilly take to motherhood so naturally. Tilly has the most wonderful temprement and has been so excited to see me when I have visited. I am looking forward to watching these little pups grow before they head off to their forever homes! 🐾✨

🐾💛 FAREWELL, ALFIE 💛🐾

Last week we said a big (and slightly soggy-eyed) goodbye to our golden boy, Alfie, who has moved house with his lovely family and started a brand new adventure in a new place.

From the very first walk to the last tail wag, Alfie has been the most gentle and joyful walking buddy. Whether he was bounding through the woods, trotting along beside his pals, or stopping for an obligatory sniff-and-chat, he brought nothing but golden retriever sunshine to every outing.

It’s been wonderful watching him have fun, even when hes decieded to become a mud monster, and myself and the Ultimutts dogs will miss him. 💔

Wishing you all the love and happiness in your new home, Alfie — it’s been an absolute privilege to be part of your pack. 🐶💫

✨ Returning faces and happy paws! ✨

I’ve recently had the absolute pleasure of caring for four familiar feline friends – Millie, Rocky, Dolly, and Pippa 😻 Each with their own little quirks, all beautiful, and some with special medical needs, they’ve all been a joy to look after while their humans were away. Thank you so much for trusting me once again with your precious pets 🥰

🐾 I offer care for cats, small animals (like rabbits, hamsters & guinea pigs), reptiles, and even smallholding animals such as pigs, chickens, and sheep. Whether it’s daily visits, medical routines, or just company while you’re away – I’ve got you covered.

💕Lexi & Hudson 💕

OGs of the Ultimutts crew Lexi and Hudson have been been walking with me from the early days of my business starting. And let’s just say it took some time to win Lexi round, but once your her person and she trusts you…. Game changer! We have had many lovely adventures together over the years and we got to spend a lovely walk together on Saturday for Lexi’s birthday!! She brought the birthday treatos to share with her pals too. Which they of course loved. Hudson is always a happy boy to go on his walkies and usually waits for me as soon as he is told that I am on my way 🥹 Lexi and Hudson are having extra walkies this week too… so here’s some photos!

🐰Small Pet Care 🐱… and once again it is time for one of my favourite jobs of the year. Taking care of the Fur Baby Familys pets and rescued guinea pigs. Which has put a smile on my face each day this week… this time there is 13 guinea pigs, Bobbins the rabbit and Figaro the cat. It was lovely to see so many of them again and meet the newest additions too.

May has been a great month for small pet care bookings, there are still some spaces for the summer available.

🎂 🎈 Olive is 5 🎈 🎂

My Olive turns 5 today! The best colleague I could wish for, can’t wait for many more adventures together. Happy Birthday, beautiful girl who is enjoying her stay with her Auntie Jayne and her dog pals!!

Working weekends, don’t always feel like work when your spending it with the Ultimutts dogs. Saturday walks and overnight pet sit for Binky and Bea, followed by Sunday secure field trip and overnight pet sit for Ruby and Nelly. Lots of sofa snuggles, zoomies and some lovely walks 💜

🐾 Bobby & Sox’s Pet Sitting Trial 🏡

Bobby & Sox have been part of the Ultimutt crew since April 2023! They started with solo walks to prepare for when their owners were away, and a family member was looking after them at home. Once that trust had been built between each of them with me and their confidence had been built, they smoothly transitioned into group walks. They have been a firm fixture in the Ultimutt diary since. Fast forward to now, and are thriving!

This weekend, we took the next step—this year they needed someone to look after Bobby and Sox for the family annual holiday. As such we booked in a pet sitting trial at their home to see how they, along with Olive, would settle in together. Safe to say, they passed with flying colors! 🐶✨ Though they both have lots of energy on a walk, they are calm in the home which is key for Olive to settle. We had some great weekend walks (forgetting the little addition we had who decieded to join our walks with their owner fields away), we bumped into Olives pal Flint on one and later had Teddy and Chester booked in to join in for a walk.

Pet sitting is a limited service, available only to our regular Ultimutt clients. Its limited as it’s important for me and Olive to also have time at home, and has to be considered alongside my other committments. It’s also essential that Olive and the doggos get along not just on walks but in the home setting too—happy, relaxed pups make for a great experience all around!

A huge well done to Bobby & Sox for smashing their trial! And thank you to their lovely owners for the gift left and for making me and Olive feel so welcome staying in your home 💜🐾
