Following a family meeting this morning, this afternoon we shared the story of a wonderful lady in an intimate setting. Immediate family showered her with love and the wind carried her to new heights.

An alternative venue this afternoon! Opting for a direct cremation, we held a special intimate service for a local Leeds man. Close friends and family gathered as we shared his story along with music and his wake all in one setting.

It’s always an honour to be asked once more to help a family say farewell to their loved one. Having created a bespoke service, family and friends gathered at Huddersfield Crematorium, to share the story of a much loved and respected local man.

This afternoon required careful planning as we maximised the time allowed at Huddersfield Crematorium with family written tributes, family poems, several pieces of music and a full chapel, as family and friends gathered to say farewell to a local gentleman.

This afternoon family and friends gathered to say farewell to a much loved mum and nana. With a bespoke written tribute and personal words, there were plenty of stories. laughter and tears. Her grandson chose the final song.

Today, we celebrated the life of a larger-than-life character who touched countless lives. From his footballing prowess (including trials for Huddersfield Town!) to his unwavering love for his family, he left an indelible mark on the world. There were tears, of course, but also a resounding chorus of laughter as we shared cherished memories and celebrated a life well-lived.

Our first service this morning at Huddersfield Crematorium was for a man who said it exactly as it was.

He was black or white take him or leave him and yes he fell out with many. However, he was well thought of as the chapel was filled with family and friends.
