This week has been the best of 2025 so far 🐾

A couple of little shoutouts to some of the pack:

Cleo is back on form enjoying her group walks now her hormones have settled and she’s a little bit less of a dragon, it feels so good having my main girl back where she belongs with her friends.

Bourbon had a random issue with his back leg earlier in the week but has now got the all clear from the vet which is amazing news! He wasn’t enthusiastic about his on-lead time this week but with the help of a healthy supply of treats we made it through.

Big Arlo has been an absolute angel in his group walks, proving to be a very trustworthy member of the pack. His recall and ability to socialise appropriately has really come on over the last few months. Hopefully when the time is right he will be introduced to the queen herself (Cleo) and he will join groups full time.

I’ve been working with Minnie on her confidence this past couple of weeks after she had a little blip, she’s bounced back and causing her usual amount of chaos which we all love.

And finally Ocean, who I don’t post often enough on my page. We’ve persevered through the bully ban, and today I got to see my beautiful smooshy girl without her muzzle, offlead, like it used to be thanks to a private field.

Well done gang, onto the next week ❤️🐾

Bear, Walter, Freddie, Nell, Nessie, Joey and Drax modelling the brand new crates!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much easier these have made my life.

I was a little worried about how the doggies would adjust to them, but so far everybody has popped right in and they seem much happier having their own space to relax after their walks.

A big investment but only the best for the pack ❤️ 🐾

We’ve had a very exciting weekend!

Ruby and Ness showed their socks off on Sunday, both placing 1st in their classes.

Incredibly proud of them both, especially Ruby as it was her first ever show. She handled the busy environment incredibly well. It’s great to see our hard work paying off.

It won’t be long until he’s joining larger groups as he’s taking everything in his stride and putting everything we’ve worked on into practice.

Snow babies ❄️

Nessies first ever snow day and she absolutely loved it but we quickly realised snow + fluffy legs = a nightmare.

Admittedly Ive been quite shocking at posting the gang recently, the past month has been hectic in my personal life!
Between my car accident, planning my little boys 2nd birthday and then almost losing our own dog (Bruce) I’m absolutely exhausted and trying to catch up with myself, but one thing never changes… the joy my pack brings me each day.

Everyone’s been feeling a little bit fresh recently which has made for some interesting walks, they love to keep me on my toes!

There’s going to be some really exciting updates coming soon for Annie’s Ark, I can’t wait to show you all!

Something a little bit different to the usual posts but behind the scenes something really special has been going on.

As some of you may know I’ve been quite down in the dumps as little Nessie’s showing career was quickly cut short, after months of hard work at training.

I was pretty close to calling it a day, and maybe trying to pick up where I left off in the future with a show bred pup.

Then a small miracle happened when Ruby’s amazing owner let me start kidnapping her each week to go ringcraft training.

Ruby has always been special. With an impeccable temperament and looks to match, she’s taken to the show life like a duck to water.

Tonight, after only 3 weeks of training, she won best yearling out of a really strong class of more experienced dogs.

I’m incredibly proud, and so so grateful for this opportunity. I’ve not only gained an amazing relationship with Ruby, but a lovely friendship with her owner.

Well this week marks 1 whole year of Annie’s Ark 🐾

What a year it has been!
It feels a lifetime ago I took the plunge and set up this page. The anxiety of advertising almost every day, posting flyers door to door and getting to grips with a routine.
And now here we are, with 21 regular dogs each week, most of which I’ve had the pleasure of watching grow from young pups.
Each day I remind myself how lucky I am to have a job I absolutely love, I’m excited to see what the next 12 months brings (hopefully a new set of wheels 😅🤞🏼)

I want to say the biggest thank you to my amazing clients, you’ve shown me so much support throughout the last year, I truly cannot tell you how much I appreciate it.

But the biggest shout out has to be to my incredible pack, who make me so so proud each and every day.
In chronological order we have:
Arthur, Chino, Cleo, Poppy, Lyla, Minnie, Little Arlo, Ocean, Nell, Freddie, Ruby, Bourbon, Drax, Specs, Big Arlo, Joey, Walter, Amber, Rosie, Bear & Dave.

Another beautiful week with the pack.
🐾“Big” Arlo has been slowly integrating into the pack walks and been absolutely amazing, I’m letting him find his feet in the pack before introducing him to queen bee Cleo ❤️
🐾 Dave, the miniature dachshund joined the pack recently and has been having a blast, he very quickly buddied up with Nessie ❤️
🐾 I’ve been seeing lots of the handsome Chino this past week, helping out his mum with some drop in visits. Very fitting since next Wednesday is Annie’s Arks 1 year anniversary and Chino has been there from the start 🥰

On Monday we had a HUGE breakthrough!

Over the last 11 months of walking Lyla it’s been incredibly difficult to find her a friend, it seemed the only dogs she would consider tolerating were large breed intact males (some of you may remember Vinnie who was sadly rehomed last year).

Myself and her lovely owner had almost given up hope and were quite happy Lyla remaining a solo dog.

But little Nessie had other plans, and yet again she’s worked her magic.

It will be so lovely to see these two girlies enjoying walks together once Ness is able manage more exercise.

Well done Lyla!! 🐾

We have another swimmer! In true retriever fashion Ruby dived straight in. Unlike her little sister who didnt want to associate with the other wet dogs 😂🐾

Drax and Bourbon having a swim in the beautiful weather today. Will be taking group doggies here over the next few days while the sun makes a rare appearance! 🐾

Can’t think of a better way to finish a day. Splashing up a stream with a handsome shepherd deep in the woods. No noise, fuss or distractions. An hour of pure bliss ❤️🐾
