We are fully insured for 3rd party liablility which also cover

s your pet if there is any unfortunate accident while they are in our care. We do take every precaution to protect your pet from any incidents, but being animals unfortunately accidents can happen. Lynsey works in a Boarding Kennel environment but now specialized in Dog grooming. You can be sure your pet will be in caring capable hands. Collection service available on request. Little Leo popped in for his very first groom and he was an absolute star. His owner has been brushing g him and getting used to standing and being combed and it really does show. You both deserve medals for making a great start on Leo’s education. Such a little cutie!!! 💜🐶✂️

A little insight into what I get up to when I’m not grooming your dogs, but still involves grooming. We have just started the British dressage Quest dressage competitions, as a team. This is also why I try and have mondays off, as it’s not a day of rest on a Sunday 😂💜🐴

If you have texted me over the weekend, I will message you from Monday. This is so I get a break from work over the weekend. I’ll try and explain and fight the stigma attached to it….

It’s apparent that I could possibly be Neurodivergent, possibly Inattentive ADHD. This means I am rubbish at communication, but amazing at the things I’m passionate about (Hyperfocus) which includes grooming and caring for all animals, and I’m amazing in a crisis. This meme totally describes how my crazy brain sometimes works. If you think I’ve done this, I really don’t mind you messaging me again. The great thing is…. It’s nothing new, I’ve always been like this, (but I’m now understanding why)

My brain has a slightly different operating system but now I know where to try and focus more…

Apologies if I have ever overlooked your messages. It’s really not intentional and believe me, I get so upset when I realise I have done this!!!

I’m also a busy single mum with a plethora of my own animals and a woman of a certain age… which also has the effect on me 🤦‍♀️. Thanks for understanding.

2 of my favourite biggies came in after lunch . I was busy removing Jet’s lead and Bella went walk abouts round my house. I thought I’d find her on my bed, so I took Jet down to the grooming room…. And look what I found……

Raven popped in for her regular groom last week. She has a very thick coat and needs de-shedding regularly to keep on top of that beautiful coat.

My new anti fatigue mat seems to be working well. Neither of these dogs usually lay down, but as you can see they were chilled as soon as they were on my table and both decided to lay on it. I must admit it is a lot nicer to lean on too, and see what needs trimming on their feet. Win win and comfy for your pooches ! 💜🐶

UPDATE

Very sadly, the poisoning has been confirmed to me by the dog's owner. She was active in the area around the children's playground, and was very interested by something in the area in this photograph.
I have this morning found a red balloon with an as yet unidentified grey-green granular substance tied inside it at the base of the tree in the foreground.
Please be vigilant, everyone, and please keep an eye out for balloons, particularly in shrub areas. If you find anything suspicious, please contact me on 07976 194113.

Darko here, I’d just like to tell you all that my mum is very busy with grooming dogs and she hasn’t got much time this month. March and April are also looking busy as she’s good at what she does and I’ve heard people say she has a special way with dogs (I know, coz I love her lots too) so please book in soon or else she might groom me, and I don’t want that.

I love working with dogs 🐕 through trust rather than restraints. Lobby is the perfect example of that. She’s never been to a groomers before and is a ball of energy. But instantly trusted me and what I was doing to her. She was brilliant to dry too and kept giving me paw. She’s doing it now as I type. What a good girl. Obviously this does not happen with all dogs but when it does, it’s great 💜🐶

The first time I ever groomed Raven… she cried, and howled and squeaked the whole time! She’s come a long way since then. I absolutely love being able to work on dogs loose when they stand on the table without any restraint.

Gnocchi helping me in my return to work today! All appointments previously made still stand and I will message/call people to fit in the ones that had to be cancelled last week. Hope everyone is well and steering clear of these horrible bugs and virus’s out there
