Specialising in Dogs and Cats but also small animals. Any personal preference for your pet will be undertaken from a bath trim and tidy up to a full clip. Any coat type/ skin condition/ size of animal or even just nail clipping available. Lynsey has owned dogs, cats and horses most of her life and has many years experience of pet care. We are fully insured for 3rd party liablility which also cover

s your pet if there is any unfortunate accident while they are in our care. We do take every precaution to protect your pet from any incidents, but being animals unfortunately accidents can happen. Lynsey works in a Boarding Kennel environment but now specialized in Dog grooming. You can be sure your pet will be in caring capable hands. Collection service available on request. Into my last week of grooming until the New Year now so I’d just like to thank everyone for trusting me with your beloved animals. I appreciate every one of you for supporting my small business and I look forward to seeing you either over the next week or in the new year. For those desperate to book in, I’m looking at maybe working Friday 3rd Jan and as yet nothing booked in, then back fully open from Tues 7th Jan.

I’ve now only got a couple of appointments available before Christmas so if you ‘re wanting to book your dog in with me, please don’t leave it too late. If you are waiting till after Christmas, I’ve got limited availability then too as my regulars are booking in their 6, 8 and 10 week cycle.

Please let me know if you want a certain day and time and I can book through my 2025 diary too.

Pepsi, popped in last week for her regular spruce up. She lives on a farm and as you can imagine she doesn’t look like a white poodle for long. Bacchus popped in for his first groom with me today. He is hand stripped and his last groomer who has now retired, has really kept up to this boys coat. It’s in perfect condition to hand strip as Bacchus has never been clipped and he’s an entire male, so the hormones allow it too (this keeps the coat wiry, where the castration usually alters the dogs coat) He’s a lovely dog with a good coat and very welcome at Pennine Grooming 😍🐶

Maisie is an absolute star 🌟 and is a great model for the Emmipet, ultra sonic doggy dental cleaning system that I offer. To start with she had around 4/5 weekly session to really get on top of her teeth but now just has it added on to her 6 weekly groom. Her breath improves immediately and her teeth are mostly tartar free. It’s non invasive and doesn’t even make a sound. If you want to know more please message me.

I try and work with your dogs at their pace, in the most humane way possible. As far as possible I like to operate a ‘Force Free’ way of working and most of the time they are free. Some even join my pack on the sofa before or after their groom. Frankie is currently showing just how chilled it is here. He did however lay the guilt trip on his mum when she brought him in…. But honestly… they soon say ‘right… what are we doing’ just like kids at school drop off
