We need our forever home‼️

We have come back into rescue twice due to no fault of our own, due to land been sold.

We are a trio family and only approx 4/5 years old

We are chipped and neutered ready for our home.

We would like to stay together.

We’re based in Huddersfield or we can travel for the right home.

Gemma’s making herself at home.

Hi

It’s just me Gemma

I’m here having a bit of a stretch from the create.

Auntie Mazelle Van der Merwe took me to see this lady who has given me some strong painkillers which I thinks helping me.

Hopefully because off all your kind help I’ll be having my operation very soon and will be pain free ☺️

I would like to thank you all so much, my foster mummy says I’m a little cutie 🥰 and so relaxed.

I’m such a small cat I only weigh 2.5kg and maybe less now because I’m been fussy with eating maybe because off all the change or the pain I’m in.

I will ask my foster mummy to keep you updated on me and I’ll try sit still and look pretty for my photos ☺️

Why do we put this?

Many reasons like the following-

1) they are under assessment, we’re trying to figure out what type of home is suitable for them

2) they are not old enough

3) they are having bravery training

4) they are under the vets having treatment

5) they have just arrived in rescue and we don’t even know what they need yet.

6) They are scared because they are going through a lot of changes. They may have been with their owner for years and now with a stranger learning to trust again.

Trying to apply for cats and kittens that have this on their posts is a waste of your time and ours.

You are more than welcome to have a pre check and get ready to adopt but setting your heart on a specific cat when we dont know the type of home they need isn’t something we advise.

We only adopt kittens in pairs of you have no other young cat in the home. There is no movement on this.

If a cat needs outdoor space and you live near a busy road, there is no movement on this.

If you apply for outdoor and we reject the application due to busy roads, we won’t offer you an indoor cat. There is no movement on this.

If the bio specifies older children and you have young children, there is no movement on this.

If we specify no other pets and you have other pets it’s not going to work. There is no movement on this.

We have to do what’s right for the cats.
Please help us to help them by not tying up time with wasted enquiries.

These 2 ferals have just had a little journey.

Auntie Zoe Hillam collected them from auntie Sandra Lathrope who’s been caring for the since the got trapped in a dangerous location.

Unfortunately auntie Zoe had a blow out on her way back to HQ where they are having an over night stay until they go to there new home tomorrow.

So auntie Mazelle Van der Merwe jumped to the rescue and met up with auntie Zoe so she could bring them to HQ.

Wow we have such a fab team of volunteers for heronbank kitties who I do t think realise what goes on so we can make things run as smoothly as we can.

This month we have chosen Little TinCRs - they do a fabulous job with stray and feral cats (and other animals too!). 🐱🐹🐰
