Boris went to a pony party🥳
He had an extended holiday so is still freshly back into work but being the legend that he is you can just chuck him on the box and he’ll do his very best for you🥰
We headed to Port Royal for their dressage and show jumping, dressage is not Boris’s strong point he’s like steering a narrow boat/ the titanic around but he managed to get a respectful 62.6% 💪🏻 then onto the jumping (spot the tack malfunction) he had an unlucky pole but still completed a good round, only jumping some of the jumps to the left, (this also seems to be his new thing we’re working on it) but clearly jumping was his favourite part of the day🤣

This is why I love TB’s, Mucky was struggling with his right canter lead, left he’s perfect and clearly likes leading with his left leg🤣
A few times over the poles to help him pick up the correct lead he then managed to pick it up straight away off the corners with no poles🙌🏻
Such a trainable clever attitude you can’t not love these horses so pleased with him🥰

Second outing of the year for Minty and he danced his way to 🥈with a promising score of 68% in the novice🕺🏻🎉
He’s now got his qualifying scores to go to the ROR Winter Dressage Championships🙌🏻 and I remembered a test to get back to doing it with no caller🤣 good day all round🥳

A different with not riding but still a great year with the horses🐴
Massive thank you to @rebecca_bush12 for keeping Minty going and @phoebesykes.eventin for doing Jungle Book, both the boys have had the best time and you’ve done an amazing job forever grateful🥰
We also gained 2 new arrivals, one being our first home bred foal Dottie’s Secret and superstar sprinter Ornate has joined the family for his retirement after giving @dennis_phillip the best days on the racecourse🐴 and for Boris he has been living his best life having some time off but will be back to it soon💪🏻
The horses wouldn’t be looking and feeling as great as they do if it wasn’t for @topspec_horse_feeds, @saracen_horse_feeds, @dengiehorsefeeds and @nafuk providing them with the nutrients and support they all individually need💪🏻

Minty had another trip eventing with Becca doing a lovely dressage test, didn’t roll as many poles as normal🙌🏻 then an unfortunate unlucky cross country! Main thing he behaved and they both came home safe and sound💪🏻

Minty danced his socks off to produce 3 lovely tests which resulted in 2 wins🥇 for his warm up classes then finishing in the top 20 in the championship out of over 50 other brilliant RORs from all over💚
