Started in February 2009, Huddersfield Pet Sitters has grown dramatically. We have over 300 clients and look after 500+ pets in the Huddersfield area. The services provided are dog walking, cat sitting and small animal care. Whether you're on holiday, long term sick or just working long hours, we are here to ensure your pets are taken care of. For dog walking, you can choose either a 30 min, 45 mi

n or 60 min walk. Within this time we can exercise, play, feed and provide companionship. We also offer a comfort break option for any dogs who struggle with a longer walk. For cat sitting, you can choose either one or two visits per day. Cleaning litter trays, feeding and playing are all part of the service. Our small animal care service includes looking after most domestic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. We pride ourselves on providing a fantastic service and treat every animal in our care as we do our own. It’s been a truly heartbreaking week as two of our gorgeous cats, Alan and Maxwell, have sadly passed away. We’ve looked after them both so many times over the last 6 years and we’ll miss them very, very much.
Alan was such a sweetheart and at 22 had such a wonderful life with his parents and little brother, Tom. He was so chatty and loved telling me all about his day (and I’m glad to hear he was shouty to the end ❤️).
Maxwell was a sweet, affectionate, gentle little man and was loved dearly by his mum and little sister, Bella. Our hearts go out to both their families at this heartbreaking time. Rest in peace sweethearts 💔🌈💔

It’s been wonderful to catch up with the rest of our doggy gang! We had the added bonus of seeing the lovely Bobby for a one off walk after he moved away last year ❤️🐕🐕‍🦺🦮❤️

Absolutely devastated as yesterday I had to say a last goodbye to Arthur, who was the sweetest, gentlest little soul and I loved our time spent together over the past 5 years. I’ll miss you so much sweetheart. 💔
He was 24 and had the most wonderful life with his amazing parents and siblings and our hearts go out to them now at this heartbreaking time. Sending lots of love 💔🌈

We’re heartbroken to lose the beautiful, sweetest little love, Maggie. She’s been with us for five years and we have so many wonderful memories of her. She was 15 but always still so happy to go out for walks with her big brother, Dennis. She had a fantastic life with her amazing family and we send our love and thoughts to them at this most difficult time. Rest in peace darling girl 🌈💔

Thank you so much for all your support and lovely messages. We’ve luckily managed to get the last two seats on a flight to Palma de Mallorca tomorrow and we’ve also rebooked Sicily for our wedding anniversary next year. Thanks once again, you’re all amazing! 😎

We’ve just had some really bad news - following a fire at the airport in Sicily on Sunday, our flights have been cancelled and are unable to be rearranged. This sadly means we are unable to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in the place we got married.
We plan to rearrange our anniversary holiday for next year instead so we’ll let you know dates for next year as soon as we have them.
We’re now desperately trying to find a last minute holiday for this coming week so any recommendations welcome!
