Often I meet people who say oh I have a Labrador so they don’t need grooming.. here is Harri after a good deshed this afternoon! His owners should notice a huge difference in hair around the house. Now for the salon clean up operation!

I am on annual leave from 4pm (tomorrow), 16th august until 9am Wednesday 21st August. I am treating myself to a complete mobile phone detox. All messages will be replied to when I am back on Wednesday..probably feeling worse for wear after a cocktail weekend with my friends in the sun 🤣

It’s often assumed that dog groomers get to cuddle puppies all day.. well, on Friday I did just that! This tiny weeny toy poodle came in for an introduction groom. Sadly I didn’t get any after photos but I will remember next time! So excited to work with pepper on monthly visits until she is ready for her first full groom.

I love it when the sun is shining! The salon has aircon so your doggies are nice and cool, they enjoy a cooler bath and a 5 minute natural blow dry around the garden 🥰

Little Larry has completed his second training session today. We are working on his lead reactivity and behaviour whilst out. I am blown away with how much he has developed in such a short space of time. Walks are already calmer and a lot more enjoyable.
If anyone is looking for a trainer then I highly recommend Nate from Innate K9, He is excellent at explaining behaviour and training methods.
We have lots of homework and I am super excited to see what a star Larry will be.

Today I got to meet the beautiful toto for his first groom with me. Toto is a Romanian rescue and has well and truely landed on his feet with the most incredible new home and family. Most rescues are nervous with their first grooms but toto was so calm and took everything in his stride.
