As part of the Galen Myotherapy Level 5 Diploma, our students will be studying the complexities of the different Planes of Movement in dogs.
‘Plane’ is one of our unique Galen Myotherapy ‘6 P’s’ which our students will learn and in this ‘P’, they will be analysing different movement patterns and the reasons behind why dogs cannot always move through these different Planes.

Understanding such complex fundamentals enables therapists to further enhance their treatment plans and to ultimately help more dogs.

Training to become a Level 5 “Galen Myotherapist and Rehabilitation Practitioner Dip.HE” involves many hours of study, both guided and non-guided.

Students will learn how to integrate the fascial system into a rehabilitation programme. They will learn to understand the importance of combining Galen Myotherapy’s unique protocol ‘The 6 P's”* (Posture, Position, Purpose, Pattern, Pace, Plane) into a cohesive and comprehensive treatment plan.
