Jenny's Dog Walking offers 1-2-1 walks meaning our attention is fully focused on just your dog/s for the whole walk. We can do all the things your dog/s loves best whether that is to just wander around the countryside, take part in some searching games or practicing tricks. Puppy/dog visits are great to break up the day for your pet whilst you aren't there. These visits can include letting out for

the toilet, playing, feeding or just giving cuddles - tailored to suit you. Regular or ad-hoc bookings available. A free initial meet and greet with you and your dog to discuss your requirements. Based in Spaldwick, covering the surrounding villages. Fully insured, DBS checked and have Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare (RQF).

😢 another one bites the dust 😢 this footpath (and the other on the way back) has been ‘farmed around’ in all the years I’ve been walking here. Now the new owners have ploughed straight across - there’s no way the little ones can get across there safely. Gutted 😞

Langley and I are getting a bit fed up with the grey skies and dreary days so we went out in search of some sunshine today. Look what we found - BLUE SKY - can you believe it?!?!? A lovely sunny walk which definitely made Langley happy as he was full of zoomies 🐾

Most of our walks are out in the countryside in woods and across fields. Sometimes we have to do a bit of road walking to get to the footpaths and it is here that for safety dogs do need to walk sensibly especially on the lanes without footpaths. Olive here functions at 100mph from the second she steps out the door. We’ve been working so so hard on walking sensibly along the lanes and last week she made me so proud totally smashing her loose lead walking. By keeping her on my right in a relaxed heel position I can quickly get her onto the grass verge and out the way of traffic if anything is coming without tripping over her swerving left and right in front of me 🐾

Remember anti freeze is highly toxic to dogs and ingestion of even a tiny amount can cause serious problems. If you are walking anywhere near a road or on gritted footpaths always wash paws when you get home to prevent your dog licking any trace off 🐾

‘Standards are slipping 😡 I think I can forgive not taking me for my walks over Christmas - apparently we were told about that but no one mentioned it to me. But THIS, THIS is unacceptable. An ORANGE lead alongside my well thought out outfit is an embarrassment. A pink lead is what is required. It was a good job we didn’t pass anyone. I think I’m going to have to complain to the management.

Cold and frosty mornings are my favourite. One of my favourite walks gets just too boggy over winter but it’s perfect to do when the mud has frozen. So yesterday was perfect for a nice long walk with Freddie 🐾 Didn’t get out quite early enough this morning though to enjoy the snow though! ⛄️

Ada and I had a lovely time at Holly Lodge this week. Freedom fields are such great environments to really interact with your dog without the worry of them running off or being interrupted by others. We practiced waiting while I hid the ball amongst the obstacles and then being released in to search. Bringing the ball back stills needs a bit of fine tuning should we say 😜 but we had great fun 🐾

‘Work smarter, not harder’ isn’t that the saying? It seems like Olive didn’t get the memo 😂

“There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.” Having good equipment makes all the difference on wet days. I may be wringing out these gloves but my hands inside are completely dry. Love my Sealskinz gloves 🐾

Like chalk and cheese but live together harmoniously 😍 perfect drop ins - cuddles and play all at once 🐾

Enrichment and mental stimulation isn’t a one size fits all. As with humans dogs have different personalities and enjoy different things. If you took me sky diving I would definitely not find that enriching nor enjoyable whereas my brother would absolutely love it. Langley here got to grips with this puzzle in about 10 minutes and enjoyed working it out. Freddie on the other hand finds this puzzle frustrating and does not enjoy engaging with it so we don’t play with it anymore. There are plenty of other activities we can do with him instead that he does love - trick training for example 🐾

Olive would like to apologise to all her fellow Cocker Spaniels and wider Spaniel family for letting them down the other day. She promises that she will never partake in this ‘walking’ malarkey ever again 🐾

*Breaking News* Never before seen footage of a Cocker Spaniel off lead walking……yes actually participating in the 4-beat gait of walk. Now obviously this sent alarm bells ringing so I stopped the footage, bent down to ask Olive if she was ok. She jumped up, licked my nose and ran off. And that was the end of that!!! 🐾
