Jenny's Dog Walking offers 1-2-1 walks meaning our attention is fully focused on just your dog/s for the whole walk. We can do all the things your dog/s loves best whether that is to just wander around the countryside, take part in some searching games or practicing tricks. Puppy/dog visits are great to break up the day for your pet whilst you aren't there. These visits can include letting out for

the toilet, playing, feeding or just giving cuddles - tailored to suit you. Regular or ad-hoc bookings available. A free initial meet and greet with you and your dog to discuss your requirements. Based in Spaldwick, covering the surrounding villages. Fully insured, DBS checked and have Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare (RQF).

Not many photos again this week, sorry! I’m still trying to clear some storage space on my phone 🫣 but here are a couple to appreciate the nature that the dogs and I are lucky to have on the doorstep for our wonderful walks every day 🍂

When you have your dog off lead it is always a good idea to recall them and keep them close when going round corners. You can’t see what’s around and there might be something you don’t want your dog to approach - whether that’s a small child, elderly person, nervous dog, vulnerable wildlife, you get the picture. Here is Olive practicing her sit, wait whilst I walk on to check the coast is clear before releasing her to continue on her walk. Top of the class Olive 🌟

Sadly we still haven’t found the lovely Lola’s family. Please keep sharing, especially in the Upper Dean area 🤞
The RSPCA has been to the address registered on the microchip but no luck there and no response to calls to the phone number on her chip either 😔
Someone must be missing her, she is such a sweetheart 💕

It was just Wilf and I to start the week yesterday 🐾 his buddy has hurt his leg so sadly we had to leave him at home and take our walk solo 🐶

5 months ago I was given the completely unexpected diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis. I do not ‘tick’ any of the common risk factors and it was a huge shock. I was off work for nearly 2 months before I could even consider walking again. I’ve had to rejig my hours and sadly stop walking some of my stronger dogs. My leg still isn’t back to normal and there’s a chance it never will be. I knew nothing about DVT 5 months ago so I’m sharing this on World Thrombosis Day to raise some awareness because it’s actually far more common than I realised and early detection can save your life ❤️

I’m normally covered in mud but today it’s cheese 🙈 Freddie decided he was going to share with me 🧀 he had his vaccination boosters this morning and we always save the highest value treats for the vets so out come the babybel 😂

“There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.” Having good equipment makes all the difference on wet days. I may be wringing out these gloves but my hands inside are completely dry. Love my Sealskinz gloves 🐾

The Equafleeces were all working hard today ☔️ a really fantastic product keeping all these lovely pooches warm and dry (and clean 👍) on a very grotty day. Langley even decided that rain wasn’t so bad when he realised he wasn’t getting wet through 😁 100% recommend them for all dogs (and no I don’t get paid to say that 😂 I just love the product) 🐾

You can take the dog walker away from the dogs but she still carries on walking 🚶 slightly different views to normal on walks this week but don’t worry I’ll be back next week ready to go 🐾

What a fantastic week 🐾 so many different walks and places to explore. We are slowly losing the defined footpaths as the fields are being prepared for the next crop so slightly more on lead than usual but on lead or off there is still plenty to tire everyone out 🐾

Like chalk and cheese but live together harmoniously 😍 perfect drop ins - cuddles and play all at once 🐾

Enrichment and mental stimulation isn’t a one size fits all. As with humans dogs have different personalities and enjoy different things. If you took me sky diving I would definitely not find that enriching nor enjoyable whereas my brother would absolutely love it. Langley here got to grips with this puzzle in about 10 minutes and enjoyed working it out. Freddie on the other hand finds this puzzle frustrating and does not enjoy engaging with it so we don’t play with it anymore. There are plenty of other activities we can do with him instead that he does love - trick training for example 🐾

Olive would like to apologise to all her fellow Cocker Spaniels and wider Spaniel family for letting them down the other day. She promises that she will never partake in this ‘walking’ malarkey ever again 🐾

Breaking News

*Breaking News* Never before seen footage of a Cocker Spaniel off lead walking……yes actually participating in the 4-beat gait of walk. Now obviously this sent alarm bells ringing so I stopped the footage, bent down to ask Olive if she was ok. She jumped up, licked my nose and ran off. And that was the end of that!!! 🐾

A bit of recall practice for Tilly and Monty 😁 they are both very good even if Tilly does sometimes have to have a little think about it before coming back 😂

Princess is smashing her loose lead walking at the minute. It’s taken a while but we can now walk along the lane without pulling or darting about into and out of the hedgerows 🌟

This video pretty much sums up today 😬 everywhere is so overgrown it becomes quite disorientating when you can’t see where you started on the field or where the footpath finishes! Ada is with me here and even at her height she disappears! 🐾
